Is my anemone splitting or dying URGENT!!!!!?
Bought my long tentacle anemone about a week and a half ago. Yesterday I noticed an unusual growth on it so I took him to Big Al's, one of the guys said it was just dividing. I put him back into my tank and today I found him in the corner and he is all bloated and the growth is more and more. I dont know what to do. Open the window. If you bathroom has a vent, turn it on. Go outside and breathe in some fresh air. You should be okay but if you start feeling weird, coughing, or anything out of the ordinary, then you definitely talk to a doctor. Since you didn't exactly physically mix the three chemicals together, the chances of any reactions occurring would be pretty low. Now if you poured all three into, say, the sink at the same time and mixed them and notice a reaction took place (you should know what they are from chemistry class: bubbles, gas, heat, color change, etc), then you should be worried. years of chemistry classes :)
