Help! I just added tap water to my car battery instead of distilled water. What should I do?

To getcha tissues ready....what a stupid and potentially dangerous answer. You don't know if the person asking is wise enough to see the "humor". To the asker...unless you have exceptionally hard water, a small amount of tap water won't hurt the battery.

Why are some mainland Chinese people so rude, impolite, and lacking in manners while travelling? I love Beijing and this land so much, I want to make it more lovable.

I think, as Lauren stated, it has a lot to do with Mao and the Cultural Revolution. I have encountered dozens upon dozens of situations where mainland Chinese have been quite rude.Several times in the store people would just jump in front of me in line. (They think selfishly, as one's own well-being being the most important)On the train, sometimes the attendant/stewardess would just open the cabin door without knocking. (They don't care to be polite, just to do the bare minimum)People constantly spit on the ground, sometimes even indoors.I have seen people throw litter out the windows of the building I live in.People here often are willing to do whatever it takes to make money, even at the expense of the planet and the well-being of humanity (Think of all of the factories without pollution controls, etc.)People are willing to do whatever it takes to have face/for the admiration of others. (People will buy a car even when they practically never drive it, only to show off for driving friends or for special events)I used to say please, thank you, and excuse me all the time. My assistant teacher told me everyone thought I seem too weak and foolish since I was too polite. Since then, I try not to be overly polite any more.In the gym, Chinese guys will always say how foreigners are weaker than them and how I am ugly, have a gut, etc. The funny thing is, I am probably the only competitive powerlifter in the entire gym I go to, yet they just love to bad-mouth me for being a foreigner. In larger cities I don't think this is as common. I chalk it up to insecurities on their part. They don't realize I can understand their Chinese.People don't typically value honesty here. They believe it is foolish to be too honest, and that you will never become successful this way. People love to yell stuff at me when I walk by, not expecting an answer. They might say "Hello", but it's not for the purpose of conversation, moreso it's like they are looking at a monkey in the zoo. Some people working in the store will keep an extra close eye on me here, even though I am a pretty clean cut looking guy, just because I am a foreigner. They act as if foreigners are all criminals or something.Of course, not all of these apply to all Chinese, but I believe it is good to bring these things to light so Chinese people may learn how to become more polite in future generations.

Why is there so much hate between Hindus and Muslims in India?

I will speak only for myself!Yesterday I attended a Muslim wedding as the bride and the groom both happen to be my schoolmates and it's a love marriage.Scene 1:Bride's dad show up.Friend 1: Hello uncle. Uncle: Hi.Friend 2 (Prajapathi): As-salamu walekum. Uncle: Waalaikum salaam.Me: Namaste uncle. Uncle: Namaste beta.Scene 2:Bride's brother turns up.“Veg is upstairs. Have soon before the non-vegetarians (he meant Muslims) invade veg counters”. He accompanied us and made sure we tasted every dish.Scene 3:All the male guests hugged the hosts. Brahmin, lingayat, Muslim, Christian,Prajapathi, Gowda. Every damn person.More than 50% of the guests were Hindus.Do you see any hate here!?I am neither proud of any of the above instances because this is how it is supposed to be.I have changed 7 schools, 2 colleges, 8 houses, 6 different localities over past 25 years and have not witnessed any actions that shows hate towards any religion or community. We are brahmins. My dad's best friend is a Christian. My best friend is a Muslim. And my mom…well she doesn't have many friends. The majority of commoners in India are living a peaceful life with the other religions. There is a problem of mis-interpretation among the masses and the media is very well aware of this.We hate those who preach against hinduism, we do not hate Muslims. We hate those who slaughter cows. We do not hate Muslims. We hate those who destroy temples. We do not hate Muslims. We hate those who spread terror/violence. We do not hate Muslims.P.S: This is what I have heard. Correct me if I am wrong. Who are Hindus? All the citizens of Hindustan are Hindis. It seems even in Mecca the Indian Muslims who go for pilgrimage are/were addressed as “Hindis” because they are from Hindustan. It's my nation. It's your nation. It's our nation.Let us do all that is possible to keep it united.:)Edit: There are too many comments and I am not able to go through & reply to all of them. There are people with Muslim names who just agreed and sent hearts. There are people with Hindu names who disagreed and threw some eggs at me.You see. We speak for each other;) That's the beauty of my country. My answer is complete now.Lots of love to all of you in the comments section.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?

It's very difficult for me to regret my own mistakes because I have learned from them but there is one in particular regret that no matter what anybody tries to tell me to make things better, I simply can't come to terms with. When I was 5 years old I was sexually abused my cousin. It went on for a while until he moved to another state. Years went by and I never said a word to anybody about it until I was 17 years old.Fast forward I graduated high school and joined the military right away. I rarely visited home but one of the days I did, my sister told me to not mention anything to anybody but that when I was on deployment my younger brother had came forward with some terrible news.My sister said that my brother told my mom that my cousin had sexually abused him. Yes, the same cousin who abused me.I asked her when it had happened and he said it was right before my cousin left to live at another state. At that moment, my heart broke. If only I had said something to someone about the sexual abuse that was being done to me my brother wouldn't have suffered. My brother suffered a lot but we didn't know what was wrong. He never said a word to anybody about anything. Now we know why and if I would have said something, he wouldn't have been abused.I've learned to accept that it wasn't my fault but it's still something that when I think about it, it breaks me down.

Why hasn't USA taken over Venezuela or Mexico?

OK, I am not advocating this, I asked the question to show the foolishness and illogic of what USA is doing. If we had used the $Trillion+ we've spent on war we could have had IN THE SAME 5 YEARS since 911, a Manhattan Project to invent a better way of storing electricity (car batteries) AND built 3 nuclear power plants in each of the lower 48 States, thus taking America all electric and gotten us off the oil tit forever.

We don't need to take over anybody, we could have energy independence if we stop being foolish. Problem is, a certain President in Washington can't say "nuclear".

I am not a warmonger nor a liberal. (Although I might be an isolationist :-) We have everything we need right here if we would just use it properly.
