My USPS package is stuck????!?

Expected delivery dates are not guaranteed delivery dates. It has left the facility in Texas. As I recall, there has been some particularly nasty weather across the mid-west and east coast over the past week or so. Air and ground transportation have been severely disrupted. You did not mention where the package is to be delivered.

Patience is your best bet at this point. Tracking can only update when there is a scan event.

Not that I need your validation but, thanks so much for reinforcing my statement that there is no guaranteed delivery on this kind of mail.

With the acceptance date being the 10th, it is far too soon to be thinking about making a claim. As of today, it has been just 7 days since it was accepted. The expected date was calculated from the date the label was printed. If you didn't receive it Saturday, I would expect it Monday.

Package stuck in USPS mailbox?

so I had to send a package to my friend. Its a fairly small box, I went into my local store and they said they don't accept packages anymore. So i went outside and stuck the package in the little blue mailbox thing outside the store. However, it was a tad too big and wouldn't go in all the way. I tried to get it out, but it was stuck. So I just left in the mailbox. Do you think the mail person will be able to get the package out and send it?

Usps, package is stuck on pre-shipment?

Nothing to worry about. It will come eventually. Either it has not yet been mailed in China or they mailed it and the barcode did not get scanned by postal authorities. What Customs does depends on the value of the item and what country you are in.

At this point, there is nothing to do but wait. Some sellers have alternate methods of getting parcels to other countries. This might be the case and there will be no tracking until a couple days before it gets delivered. The last two letters in your tracking number are a big clue, if you can tell us what they are.

My package is stuck at isc los angeles usps?

When something is stuck in Customs it's usually because the sender did not include the appropriate customs invoice or did not accurately describe the item being sent or list a country or origin. Or they do not believe the value of the item listed on the invoice. Or the item is suspected to be counterfeit
Customs usually doesn't contact you unless there is duty owed. They usually contact the sender if there is a problem with the customs invoice, the value or the legitimacy of the item that was sent

You can try calling Customs in LA to see if they can help http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/conta...

Scanning is imperfect. Data is collected automatically when parcels are sortedby machines. Smaller packages may get hand sorting and then not scanned. Also, there is no tracking when packages are in transit by air or truck. There is no indication what class of mail was used. If Media Mail or Parcel Select, transport is by truck and takes a while. Tracking drives people crazy because they don't visualize how it works. That is understandable and it would be better if you didn't look at it and just let it come. My wife and I both had careers in the postal service and we never follow the tracking. It will just show up one day.

Customs & Border Patrol International Mail FacilityPhone: (718) 553-1456Your package is not at the ISC. If it’s been that long, it’s at the place no one mentions. ISC doesn’t store mail. They move it when the rogue CBP (Customs and Border Patrol) finally gives it to them. Good luck. You’re likely to speak to some lazy bleep who’s annoyed you got the number. Just remember, you’re paying the salary of that aforementioned pile.

The Anderson Indiana Post Office is the destination according to the way the package was addressed. You need to speak to the Post Master at that Post Office. If you live near there, you can go in to pick it up,The alternate is that it was flagged by Customs to be held at that Post Office and you will be arrested when you ask for it in person. I started in Pakistan and went through Jamaica, both locations where drugs are sent to the US through the postal system. The package would have gone through an x ray scanner as well as a unit that smells for explosives and drugs. However, if you have nothing illegal in the package you have nothing to fear. Trace amounts on the exterior of the package will cause a flag but will cause you no harm, once you open the package for a Customs agent with a warrant.

My package is stuck at the post office?

If you would care to provide the tracking number you are using, I can look on our internal systems for you.

Outside of that, you are most likely seeing the processing plant that serves your ZIP Code, not an actual Post Office. There is really nobody to contact at a plant about a missing package, especially one from 10 months ago. You may be able to start an inquiry but it's really not the usual for someone to wait so long to ask about things. Even if sent to Mail Recovery, items are only held for a minimum of 90 days before being auctioned off or destroyed.

I am curious though. Did you have to pay any sort of processing or handling fee to collect your prize?
