Can I get an admission in VIT Vellore campus if my rank is of 20000?
Based on my experience, SRMJEEE and VITEE: VITEEE:-Physics: As per my observation, the weightage of class 12 was around 60%. Focus was on Mechanics, Electrodynamics and Modern Physics. Chemistry: There were a good amount of questions from Physical Chemistry. Inorganic had a less share. Organic was based on that of class 12. Both, class 11 and 12 had roughly equal weightage. Mathematics: The focus was on Coordinate Geometry and Calculus. I think class 12 had a greater representation. English: All the questions were from NCERT textbook of class 12SRMJEEE:-Physics: Most of the questions were direct and theoretical. Here too, weightage of class 12 was around 60%. Here also, the focus points were same as that of VITEEE. Chemistry: There was almost equal number of questions from all the three branches. Class 12 had higher weightage. Mathematics: Here too, it Coordinate Geometry and Calculus stole the show. Both the classes had roughly equal weightage. Keep one thing in mind, these exams are held online and have various slots. So you can’t form any general trend for these exams. That is why, I would advise you to not think a lot about trends in these exams. It may back.
My rank in the VIT is 46k. In which category can I get an admission?
It actually depends on your rank and that year result. The donations fees may also vary with demand and supply for each year.For Computer & IT it will be slightly higher than other branches.Anyone can't actually predict its exact amount as it totally depends on the people & demand for a seat. The general rule is, better your rank is, lesser you will pay as donation. Your fees varies in general from 3 to 7 lacs depend on branch that you want. HelloIt totally depends which stream you gonna choose for your study as most of the core branches closed well before that rank. You have only option left to invest a higher sum of amount through management quota to get admitted in core branch. How much should I score to get the CSE branch at VIT Vellore?
I would like to answer this question because I can relate to it on a personal level as I’m a VITian. Well there are many ways to get into any branch at VIT Vellore. So here goes the list:1) Well if you come from a VERY RICH background, then just relax. You can even buy the whole CSE department if your parents are willing to donate a large amount. Everything is for sale, so don’t worry. You can even choose whether you want to appear for the entrance examination or not.2) If you come from a RICH background, then you have to appear for the entrance examination. Just fill your details and don’t worry about your score. Just make sure that your parents donate a descent amount.3) If you want to crack the VITEEE examination and get genuinely selected (and you come from a middle class family), then you will have to get a rank within 6k(For CSE branch, Category 1).I hope this could help.

Can I get into the ECE program at VIT Chennai in the first category with a rank of 17K?
17k falls under the 1st category, but you might just overshoot the ECE limit going by my experience.Back in 2012, I had a rank of 10k and I got ECE at VIT Chennai with some 200 seats to spare. But seats have imcreased a lot in these 4 years, so you might get it.In 2012 each of the courses at Vellore campus had 650 seats and each at Chennai had some 250 seats. You can go for previous year data to have a better comprehension.My answer : You are more poised to get it than to not get it.
If I've got a rank above 1 lakh in the VITEEE, can I get a seat in VIT through the management quota?
As far as I know Now when you come for counselling you will see that seats are divided into categories I II III and IV. Previously there was only category 1 and management quota and management quota seats were no visible at the time of counselling. So to prevent you going to some agents and fall in their trap. The management quota system was removed.To make the system transparent it has been removed and now are put in various categories depending on your rank. If someone is trying to get you admitted through this the I think u are not thinking twice..!
