Is it possible to be a good tattoo artist if you not good at drawing?

Let’s look at this question a little closer. Is it possible to be a good artist if you (are) not good at drawing? Notice I dropped the word tattoo, as it doesn’t truly make a difference in this instance. No, you cannot be a good artist if you are not good at drawing. Therefore, you cannot be a good tattoo artist if you are not good at drawing. There are some clarifications I would like to make however. One, tattooing can be treated as a craft, and you can be a good craftsman without a firm understanding of art. You can reproduce flash art as tattoos, and make good tattoos that way. Unfortunately, this severely limits your ability to make new art, or changes to designs, so I do not believe you can call yourself a good tattoo artist at this point. But you could technically be a good tattooer with this skill set.All is not lost however. You can become a better artist, at any point. You can learn to draw better. You can learn the basics of art, and apply them to your work. You can take classes, watch videos, read books, and practice your butt off, and become quite a good artist. It all depends on how badly you want it. I would strongly suggest using as many different mediums as you can get your hands on. Pencil, charcoal, watercolors, oil, acrylics, sculpting, carving, anything you can use to make art, use it. Each will teach you something different, and make you that much better.

Should I (a boy) Get a tattoo of stars behind my ear?

Well I think it would look great! very sexy! If you want it, go for it! But make sure it is something you really want to do. Getting it removed is extremely painful and could cost a lot of money.

The good thing about this tattoo is that is is pretty small and easy to hide. Chances are people won't care if you have it in a workplace. You could always grow your hair a little longer to cover some of it, then put makeup on as well.

All in all, I think it would look great. and you should do it for yourself, Chris Brown isn't at all feminine and if people ever joke about it, don't worry about it. You are who you are. Don't change for anyone :)

Tattoo behind your ear? good , bad ?

This is yet another spot that loses color quickly and is hard to heal. Your hair gets tangled in it while it's healing which equals tough healing.

Some I have seen behind the ear are nicely done and only slightly noticable - you have to really be paying attention to detail. Others I have seen have been poorly done from the beginning, or healed poorly, and look awful. If it turns out bad, you are limited in your cover up options, as cover ups always require a larger space... not too much there to work with to begin with.

It's all personal choice though really.

As far as pain, I wouldn't know. I refuse to tattoo there.
