Was Nazereth A Part Of Rome

Difference between Jesus Christ and Jesus of Nazareth?

They are one and the same... Jesus was born in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth and died outside the gates of Jerusalem. Jesus is also the Christ... the Messiah... Savior of us all.

Where did you get the idea that He was born in Rome? Are you trying to be funny?

Was Jesus of Nazareth Palestinian?

Jesus Peace be Upon Him was a Palestinian.

He was born and raised in Palestine.

He was a submitter to the Lord and he was sent down to fix the changes that were commited by the Jews. He was accepted by many people who followed him but was also rejected by the Jews and the Infidel Romans who tried to put him on the cross.

Jesus was ofcourse a Palestinian, and if he was on earth today, he would order the world to unite against the deception of the Zionists who claim that God gave them the land of Palestine and who claim that they are God's chosen people, which they are not because they lost favor with God when they rejected Jesus.

Jesus Christ was a Palestinian, don't believe anyone who would tell you otherwise. Only pro-Zionistanists would try to hide that fact.

SInce we're discussing Palestine, I would like to say that the arrogance of the zionists and their supporters is the reason this conflict is there in the first place. Palestine has always been a part of the ottoman empire and before that all Islamic Empires.

I just don't see how a German or Polish or Russian or American jew can claim that this land is his, it's sickening, the ammount of arrogance such a person should have before giving himself the permission to transgress on the property of Palestinians.

Anyhow, your Lord will make the rightous victorious, so no one is worried, but people are only upset at the disintigration of humanity's ethical values, that you cannot take land away from people because you claim that God Promised it to you or because you claim that you are God's CHOSEN people.

There are no Chosen people, and anyone in this age who claims that he or she is chosen is in my eyes, a CURSED person. the Lord would never chose people who go around killing Palestinian children. 1000 such children killed over the past 5 years. God's "chosen" people would simply have to be more "chosen" i.e. just, loving, fair... not arrogant fools.

Why and how did we get from Jesus of Nazareth to the Pope in Rome?

Long version would take 2000 years to tell, give or take, and can be read about in bits and pieces starting from Paul’s letter to the Romans and Acts of the Apostles.Short version is Jesus calls the Twelve, Peter is respected as first (senior) among them. Risen Christ calls Paul. James leads local church of Jerusalem, Paul spreads the gospel, Peter goes to Antioch then he and Paul both end up in Rome. They are martyred and buried there.Jerusalem, the mother church, is destroyed by the Romans. Christians look to the local churches founded by apostles for leadership.Rome has double the apostolic authority with two - and their the big guns, too. Rome is also political capitol of the empire, and the christians there gain influence too.Rome is also the only one of these apostolic local churches in the western empire, the rest scattered from Ephesus to Alexandria to Kerala. Rome is unanimously agreed upon by all as the senior of these apostolic sees at the first opportunity to do so. It helps the Emperor sees it that way too. ….and so on. Read a good book on Christian history for the details.

What do Jews think of Jesus Christ of Nazereth (King of Kings) ?

Do they believe he is the son of God that is also the father and their only ticket to avoid firey damnation? Or do they have the gall to consider him a normal human or fictional character?

Did Jesus die in Rome or Jerusalem?

Jesus was born in bethlehem
Jesus was from and grew up in Nazareth.
Jesus was crucified right outside of Jerusalem on a hill called "golgotha" aka "the place of the skull".
All these cities and places are in Israel. In the Old testament, God gave Israel to all the Jews as part of the covenant that God made with them.

You can google golgotha to learn more about and its exact location. There is now a Church built right on the spot where it is believed that Jesus was crucified.

Was Jesus a Roman citizen - could he have visited Rome?

Judaea was ruled by the Herodian dynasty, who were clients of Rome. They and their family members, the aristocracy, had Roman citizenship,Almost incidentally, Saul/Paul had Roman citizenship, which is how he could appeal the the emperor.Roman citizenship came in various classes:Classes of citizenship2.1 Cives Romani2.2 Latini2.3 Socii2.4 Provinciales2.5 PeregriniMembers of the empire were able to buy a low level of citizenship for a modest fee, about a month’s wages. Here’s a man who visited Rome: Abercius of HieropolisInscription of Abercius: And to Rome he sent me to contemplate majesty, and to see a queen golden-robed and golden-sandalled; there also I saw a people bearing a shining mark. One of my favourite accounts is of a British woman, who after Rome conquered Britain, went to live in Rome. She became a popular guest at dinner parties. Clearly she was of the British nobility who invited Roman forces into southern Britain.Members of the Herodian aristocracy owned houses in Rome.

During which Roman emperor's reign was Jesus crucified?

Nearly all Biblical scholars and even secular historians who accept the historical Jesus believe the Crucifixion had to have happened sometime between the years 29 and 33 AD. Tiberius was the Emperor during that entire period, and ruled until early in 37. No one that I've heard of believes that it occurred as late as 37, so it was definitely in the reign of Tiberius.Another strong piece of evidence for nailing down the time frame to Tiberius' reign comes from the fact that we know that Pontius Pilate was Prefect of Judea between the years of 26 and 36, and actually was recalled to Rome and arrived there right before Tiberius died in 37. Pilate is attested in first-century historical accounts besides Biblical ones, and his name even appears on a dedication stone that was discovered in 1961.
