Was There A Moment When Op Wasn

Help with a op-ed essay about Romeo and Juliet: why should today's teens read Romeo and Juliet?

The other day I tried to start this op-ed essay and seemed to have a bit of trouble getting the ball rolling. I decided to stop and start up the next day (today), then I got an idea. The whole point of the op-ed essay is why teenager's today should read Romeo and Juliet, but there needs to be a connection. It's not just the beautiful, rich language of Shakespeare, but the relationship it has towards teens of the 21st century. My connection, I hope works, will be about depression leading into suicide. This play is so deep in feeling. Lord Capulet and Lord Montague are so wounded up in their own drama that they cannot see past this invisible fog that is blocking them from seeing what is happening to their children. It's almost like what is happening today in the world. A child's parents fight constantly, never seeing the effect that it is having on their child. Soon, the child finds a friend who can relate to their family problems at the moment. The child tells the friend that they are thinking about suicide, and as all good friends should, tells the child not to and that they can work this out. Here's the catch, this whole story leads up the the parents divorce, child commits suicide, friend feels so depressed and feels like its their fault (taking their own life as well). Parents finally see what they had done, becomes friends and the fighting finally ends.

I know that this might be a ton to comprehend, but if you do get it would this be a good topic for this essay? Below I also included the other guideline questions that go along with this essay >>

What should a 21st century teenager come out of the play knowing? Why does the play matter? What is important and relevant to a contemporary reader?

***I am not asking you to write my essay I would just like your opinion please!***

When can I eat normal foods after a tonsillectomy?

Right now I m post-op day 7 of a tonsillectomy as I had the surgery on August 18th. I m 15 years old (16 in September) and I m not going to lie, it s been hell and I ve had some emotional moments where I just cry about wanting to be done with this. The first day there wasn t much pain, but then it started to increase as did earaches. So far all I ve been able to eat are noodles, pudding, and yogurt. I m just wondering when I can start to enjoy food again? I will NOT take food for granted, all I ve wanted is Pizza Hut and their garlic parmesan chicken wings. Or Chinese food. But anyway, when can I start introducing food to my new throat? When can I expect my scabs to start coming off? And one last thing, I start school on the 31st, which is 13 days post-op, Friday September 2nd is my check up appointment. Should I expect any nausea when I m back in school? I ve read that when people go out or to work they vomit in a few hours and I do not want to do that at school. Thanks so much to anyone who helps!

Black Ops or Modern Warfare 3?

Well Black Ops Multiplayer is generally slower paced than the Modern Warfare Series multiplayer. So it depends on whether you like your shooters to be more high action and frantic or Slightly slower and more tactical.

Also in lieu of Zombies , MW3 will have a Spec Ops survival mode which will involve two players holding off against waves of enemy AI soldiers and aircraft.

These are the only really fundamental differences in the Multiplayer game modes.

The Zombie mode is tons of fun when you pay with a group of friends, its easily the best part of the game.

I would recommend just getting Black ops. You can always get MW3 later after a price drop if you really want it.

If Orochimaru wasn't sick and Itachi was not sick, who would win in a fight?

Itachi would probably win the initial engagement, and possibly the next, but Orochimaru learns and adapts with every fight. Orochimaru was not sick, he just did not have a body capable of handling his power. He burned them out within a three-year period. He would have been very powerful in a body that could handle him. But Itachi had some of the most ridiculously OP powers out there. Itachi at full strength would mean he could use his Susano’o to seal Orochimaru away that much easier. The greater issue is that Orochimaru’s horcruxes/cursed seals that had his Chakra and a copy of his mind inside of them would have to be hunted down. Otherwise, he has a chance of coming back eventually, which is exactly what he did. And he’d know what didn’t work last time and plan accordingly for the next fight.Kabuto was using most of the tools and weapons Orochimaru had accumulated and put up a serious fight against Itachi with infinite Chakra, infinite regeneration, infinite mangekyou usage, AND Sasuke at the same time. It was OP eye-power pulled out of nowhere that saved the day then.If it’s “Orochimaru at full power” vs. “Itachi in good health”, then Orochimaru will eventually win for the simple fact that Orochimaru’s recuperative abilities, Chakra supply, and ability to adjust his tactics and find ways of survival would mean he’d outlast Itachi. If Orochimaru doesn’t get hit with an OP Genjutsu or sealing technique, or devises a counter to such, he has a chance. As well, Itachi’s Chakra amount is lower than Kakashi’s. Costly jutsu can’t be used by Itachi repeatedly in a small time frame without serious consequences.tl;dr In the short-term, Itachi will win two or three battles, maybe more, but Orochimaru will eventually win through persistence, adaptation, and greater vitality.

Don't you think that Snape would have helped Harry in many ways? I mean he knew things like about Sirius, about the Horcruxes, and the connection between Harry and Voldemort. Wasn't he selfish all the time?

Yes, indeed he was selfish.Snape never helped Harry out of any positive feeling. Snape was hellbent on revenge and revenge only. All he cared about was Lily and his love for her. He loved dark arts and he loved Lily. He never knew what he loved more and always wanted both. He always dreamed of him being a master of dark arts, and the most trusted death eater of Voldemort, along with Lily standing beside him as his partner. He always followed this dream of his, never realising that this was impossible in reality. The moment Voldemort killed Lily, he knew what he wanted more. His love for Lily triumphed his love for dark arts. He now had only one aim in his life. Destroy Voldemort, no matter the cost.Remember, this was all he wanted. He still loved Lily very much. And James Potter snatched the love of his life from him. This made him hate James. He saw James in Harry. So he hated him with all hus heart. But at the same time, he also saw a part of Lily in him. So he had to help him out. And Harry was his only hope to destroy Voldemort. In essence, he never liked Harry. He hated him. He saw reflection of his nemesis James in him. So naturally, he never helped Harry out of any emotion but to destroy Voldemort.

Why do people hate Call of Duty?

Because it's a boring mess. I used to play CoD all the time, played every one of the main series, but after a while it just seemed like a really stupid game. A lot of the maps feel the same, I basically end up running laps around the map spraying whoever I come across or end up just staying in one spot snipping people. There's not much else to do other than that. The small maps limit maneuver tactics when playing objective modes. It's multiplayer uses peer to peer connection so there's always at least some lag and the host gets a no-lag advantage which is very unbalanced. The single player is basically Time Crysis, except that you can move around. There's also minor things like the fact that you can only sprint for a few feet before getting tired even though your character isn't carrying much. I urge you to study some real world combat tactics, get some friends together, and try battlefield. Believe me there is a big difference in game experience. Using strategy and working together actually benefits you in Battlefield. Also the scale of the maps, player count, dynamic environment, vehicles, physics, and play style of Battlefield generate tons of awe inspiring multiplayer moments that you have to see to believe and that are way more incredible than anything that can happen in any other game.

How often did President Bush visit schools to read books to the kids?

The White House issues a calendar of the presidents itinerary. It's online.

This sort of non-event, a school visit, or a hospital visit isn't usually done for more than a photo-op in the local newspapers. It rarely gets reported elsewhere. and its been fairly common under all presidents to visit school children. Just like First Ladies visit lunchrooms and libraries.
It's really surprising how many places they go that aren't big deals.

There was no mistaking the surprised 'deer in the headlights' expression on Bush's face.
He wasn't that good an actor, and his stunned inability to think on his feet when told the US was under attack was a poor choice if he in any way knew about it, he could have simply excused himself by saying he had presidential things to do and their teacher would be happy to finish up.
Instead he finished reading My Pet Goat.
No one with enough brass to plan a deal where you kill thousands of people would want to be seen as dumb enough to finish a book named My Pet Goat.
