Watch Dogs Pre-order Hasn

Do you ever preorder video games?

Some video game franchises have earned my trust by consistently putting out excellent products that do exactly what they say they will, and mastery of their genre. I’ll then read the pitch for the game and buy it on the pitch alone.Creative Assembly’s Total War is one such; they’ve had amazing battles (and a mediocre grand campaign) ever since Shogun 1. This meant that when I saw the pitch for Total Warhammer 1 (finally breaking out of historical and bringing the wizards and the dragons) I knew I could buy it sight unseen and it wouldn’t disappoint (and indeed it hasn’t). Neither has Total Warhammer 2 (and I’ve over 250 hours in both Total Warhammer 1 and 2) - but when it came to Thrones of Britannia I took one look and decided I wasn’t terribly interested. I’ll be back for both Three Kingdoms and Total Warhammer 3.Nintendo as far as I know have yet to put out an other than excellent game in the 2d Mario, 3d Mario, Legend of Zelda, Mario Kart, or Splatoon franchises, and even their weakest Smash game was very fun. Nintendo are excellent at polishing their games, and all those games have franchises behind them.On the other hand these are all established franchises with all the entries doing what they do and after Mass Effect 3 I’m not pre-ordering anything else published by EA (and Ubisoft are little better). I’m also never pre-ordering something that is either not by a long-established development studio (No Man’s Sky, I’m looking at you!) or part of an existing franchise (however good games Platinum Stuidos frequently produces). Atlus on the other hand may be pushing their way into this list for JRPGs - I’ll see when Shin Megami Tensei V comes out, and Naughty Dog would if I didn’t have far too many games in their genre already. So I onl do when I trust the developer and like the game - and that trust has got to be earned.

I'm having problems house training my Great Pyrenees. Please Help?

Puppy pads are useless! They encourage a dog to eliminate indoors; no wonder he's so confused. Hitting him and holding his nose close to his urine/feces will not help either; it'll frighten him and cause more confusion. Clean all his accident areas with enzymatic cleaner, because he will use them again if he can tell he's eliminated there before. Take him out every 2-3 hours and shortly after he eats/drinks. Praise him and give him a treat when he eliminates outdoors and use a term that he can learn, such as "outside", "potty", etc. If you catch him trying to eliminate indoors, clap your hands to distract him, and get him outside ASAP. Again, praise him when he eliminates outdoors. Slowly introduce him to a crate (feed him in it, give him treats when crating for a short period of time, etc.) so he associates it with positive things, and crate him whenever you cannot supervise him (only short periods of time).

Also, do not expect a 10 week old to be consistently housetrained, or be able to hold it through the night; he's very young. All you can do right now is introduce him to housetraining, take him out often on a schedule, and get rid of those pads and the whole concept of eliminating on a little white sheet indoors. Never hit him or hold his nose near his messes again.

Can dogs eat chicken that has been left out?

Dogs are scavengers by nature and will eat just about anything they can wrap their dog lips around. Their stomachs are a little different than people’s so they can handle eating some things that might turn our stomachs. It's why dogs that go through the trash and eat food that has been there for a couple of days are usually fine.If the chicken smells okay and is deboned, let him have it. If the meat smells a little funky or is discolored, toss it. Any meat on the bone should be removed before feeding to dogs and cats. Chicken bones can break and splinter causing injury to a pet's mouth and digestive tract.

Greenies? Dog treats?

Greenies are no more dangerous than any other chew treat, so long as you follow the instructions on the package. Feed the size appropriate for your dog and supervise your dog while she's eating them. If she bites off large chunks, stop giving her Greenies.

There was a big stink about Greenies being dangerous a couple of years ago. The problem wasn't that they were any more dangerous than other chewies, but that they were the most popular brand and so it made for sensational news. Every one of the reported cases I read was a case of the owner not following the package instructions.

At the time I had a very sick puppy who had to see a veterinary dental specialist. I took the opportunity to ask this specialist, a world renowned expert, about Greenies. He said they were great, that they were effective in cleaning the teeth and perfectly safe if fed correctly.

I continue to feed Greenies to all of my dogs (have fed 'em since they first appeared on the market), without a problem. But I do supervise them as instructed.

---edit---

The pigment in Greenies is chlorophyll, ie the same pigment that makes plants green. Chlorophyll is a natural odor reducer. I feed it in a much more concentrated form than Greenies to females in season to make them somewhat less attractive to males. It is perfectly safe to feed dogs.

The problem wasn't the shape, which hasn't been changed anyway.

The problem wasn't indigestibility (they always were digestible) but that a few dogs were biting off large chunks without chewing and swallowing them whole. The big chunks would upset the stomach or even block the digestive tract. This was owner error for not supervising the dog's chewing.

The company reformulated them to make them softer so they would dissolve better in case the dog didn't chew. There is a difference between being digestible and being dissolveable. Someone went on about how a Greenie went through the wash and didn't disappear. Well a steak wouldn't melt in the wash either, but if you chew it up properly it will pass right through and be fully digestible, the same as a Greenie.

Dog breeding?

if they have tied she is likely to get pregnant. however if she is still trying to mate but he is not interested, she may want to be absolutly certain she is pregnant. this is what dogs do.
seperate them for a while. if you have a front yard and a back yard place one dog in each for about 3-4 hours and re introduce them. they should be more excited to see each other and should mount. sometimes the male dog just doesnt have the energy to mount and penetrate. this will also give him the opportunity to gather up his energy for a more successful mating.

you should also ensure that they do not tie more than 5 days apart because this will increase the risk of there being more than one runt in the litter. the pups fertilised from the later tieing will be less developed and weaker than their brothers and sisters.

good luck!

p.s. i CANNOT believe there are still people against her breeding her dogs. she wants only 1 litter!
her dogs are both akc reg!
they are both in perfect health!
loving homes are ready for the pups!
profit isnt an incentive for the breeding!
