How do I not run out of things to talk about?

I think this happens to everyone... Like I will be afraid of running out of things to say with my dad. Sometimes you just have to enjoy the silence when words are not needed, ya know? Ask her about her past: what were you like when you were a kid? what were you into? what did you wanna be when you grew up? Present: how are you doing? school/work/hobbies? what do you enjoy doing? seen any movies recently? future: what are your goals in life? where do you want to go, live, see?

Things to talk about with my 13 year old boyfriend?
Talk about your interests!! Does he do sports? Ask him when his next game is, what the season record is for the team so far!! Ask how he is doing in school, does he like his teachers, how was his day, what did he do, etc lol! Umm ask him what he likes to do when he isn't in school, basically just talk!! Bring up random topics, what is his favorite animal, is he doing anything over the breaks...etc haha ik that was like all over the place, but I hope this helps!! :) you should be able to talk about anything with your bf!!
What are some things to talk about with your boyfriend over text?
I think the best way to keep a conversation rolling is to ask open ended questions. Not like "was your day good?" where he can just reply yes or no ask "what did you get up to today" then he has to respond with what he did that day and from that you can continue ask him questions from that. Writing little funny's is always a good thing. Just remember that you don't have to be talking all the time either. If you are then conversation does run dry. If you hold out talking to him for a day there is plenty to talk about when you do chat next. Your still in the honeymoon period where there should be plenty to discuss. Your best option is to really start to get to know him. Find out who he is and wants in life. Plenty of things to talk about there. Good luck

If it's over texting, just don't reply so quickly. It makes it seem longer. If it's in person, then just be like "If I gave you a [insert item] what would you do with it?" It sounds stupid but I used to say that all the time and we never ran out of things to say because it sort of starts a new topic. Sometimes I'd say "If I gave you an oatmeal raisin cookie, what'd you do with it?" and voila, we'd start talking about cookies and then other desserts, then old people or something. They always went off in odd directions. And ignore whoever said/says that y'all aren't a good couple if you run out of things to say. I run out of things to say to my best friends, that doesn't make us a horrible set of friends, does it?
