Yea! :) They are comfy so why not..I think it would look good no matter how tall or short. I wear them and i love them! But Dont wear them too much because sometimes i've hear that if you do..you wont know if you're gaining pounds..if you wear them everyday you wont know and you'll grow out of pants really fast.. Janet, You don't have to shop the kids section, just take a minute to get familiar with a few new stores and websites that carry either petite clothing or regular clothing brands that run really, really tiny. Forever 21 size XS is tiny and prices are low, clothes will last at least one season. Abercrombie & Fitch XS is TINY. They have great sales and clothes can last 2-3 seasons. Guess- doesn't run that small and not a real favorite. Free People- Must buy on sale, clothes are a little pricey, but are super CUTE and TINY. BCBG- Look to see if there's an outlet near you. The have a XXS! Dressy/work attire/suits and sexy dresses. The Loft (Ann Taylor)- Save this for when you get older. The carry actual Petite sizing. Work attire. Banana Republic- Petite sizing available online only. Beautiful classic pieces. Should last a lifetime. Old Navy-Petite sizing available online only. Macy's department store has a petite department. If you are a petite woman, where do you currently shop online for your clothes?
I’ve written this piece for all the girls out there like me who’ve spent a lifetime turning-up sleeves, cuffing trousers and getting skirts and dresses rehemmed. Or in my case, bribing my long-suffering mum to do it for me. Our mates and family might call us “short” (or worse), but the fashion world has a more elegant name: we’re “petite”. That’s women 5ft 3in and under (or 5ft 4in for some brands). We’re in stylish company. The likes of Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen (5ft 1in and 5ft respectively), Natalie Portman (5ft 3in), Judi Dench (5ft 1in) and Emilia Clarke (5ft 2in) are all of diminutive stature, but unlike them, we don’t have designers queuing up to make us perfectly proportioned pieces.Instead we have to rely on what’s out there on the high street and online. For me at 5ft 1in and with a 28-inch inside leg, it’s not even worth looking at trousers or jumpsuits in a lot of stores. Full length ones trail on the floor, as in most shops, 32-34-inches is standard for the inside leg. Then the culottes, cropped trousers and midi skirts that look so chic on my taller friends, hit my short legs in all the wrong places. Or they just become full-length or maxi and don’t hang as they should. Tops too can be problematic, not least those pretty fluted sleeves that are everywhere at the moment. On me they end up looking more clown-like than chic. A standard-length top will hit my hips at the widest point, and jackets and coats with an average shoulder width can make me look like I’ve been over-doing it at the gym.

I had just the opposite problem when I was chef, I am 6' 5" and weighed at one time close to 300 lbs, so not many people messed with me, there are on-line chef uniform supply sites, now it might sound funny but some have teen and children's sizes, otherwise you might have to get them altered. I bought some years ago from a US place called White Rabbit, with my name monogrammed on them for I was a sous chef in Hotels and restaurants for many years, I moved around alot so I had a few work ones for the early days.
