Wedding Theme Color Ideas Help

Wedding theme ideas... please help me.?

Lets try to break it down:
1. You, the bride want blue and green and always have.
2. The bride is in charge of her wedding; however if someone else is paying they often think this gives them the right to step in and have there say so=wrong
3. You pick your colors and theme no matter what future in laws say, if they ain't paying, they ain't saying.
4. Red, white and blue are military colors.
5. And what the heck is a glow stick theme.
6. Stop with trying to please everyone and do what YOU want, stop with the trying to convince and sorry but saying nicely, you never ever ask guests what colors to wear---
Now---"theme, "Winter Beach Wedding" "Christmas wedding in July" Christmas in July" "Beach Wedding in December" **too early for me to think straight "Christmas in July"
and have your beach theme, I mean go all out, fish net with sea shells, etc big conch shells on some of the tables, gorgeous, the big ones,. just google beach weddings for many ideas, colorful leis for guests, tropical drink witt little umbrellas to get them in the beach spirit. Or a bucket/basket of flip flops with a sign "dancing shoes"
flowers in bright colors, like gerber daisies, have bm wear turquoise with lime bouquet ad in a bit of peach and just a bit blue into the lime, lime spider mums or the cymbidium orchids with purple throats. Consier letting bm carry round brandy snifters with sand half way up, covered with shells and a candle in the middle, decorage the bottom part of the round part with tropical greenery. If you can afford have protea, ginger, bromeliads, orchids, anthirium leaves, etc. in bouquets. Use placemat rings with a sandollar or starfish napkin ring.
Use olny a bit of silver as silver to me anyway is considered a rich, elegant, classy color.
For bm bouquets, get florist to get some lamb's ear or dusty miller which is a grayish green and would look good in tropical bouquets. Have beachy music at your reception.
Again, don't try to explain, just do, don't tell them anything else, do what you want and let hubby to be do any explaining if questions are asked and he can make sure "they get to the church on time".

Wedding colors or wedding theme help please?

I like the elegant look of black and white with a bright accent color.

Red would be good.

Yellow is nice too.

I suggest bride wear white. The groom and his men can wear black tuxes. Then each of the maids can select a little black dress, something that can be worn again. Many of them may already own a little black dress. The dresses do not need to be identical. Each maid can choose a dress that is flattering to her individual body type.

Then add one bright accent color.

As for themes, I am very anti-theme. LOL. I think that "we-are-getting-married" is theme enough.

If you must have a theme, see here

Help me pick a wedding theme and colors!?

Can anyone help me pick a wedding theme at this location:

We are planning a DIY wedding so we can take an awesome honeymoon but I'm having trouble deciding what would look nice in our venue. Suggest any colors, flowers or centerpiece ideas? Btw we are having an outside ceremony and indoors reception. I was thinking fresh gerber daisies in mason jars, soft aqua or coral dresses, burlap table runners.....you get the idea! Country but pretty :-)

French Wedding Theme Color Ideas?

If the plum colour you are using is more aubergine than burgundy, then lilac tones would work really well with black lace. My suggestion would be to use 'Schwartzwalder' calla lilies with 'Memory Lane' Roses and possibly some lilac freesia to give fragrance. Use some architectural leaves to give definition and 'cage' the bouquet with steel grass to represent the Eiffel Tower iron-work. You could use some large black ostrich feathers in your table arrangements which would be very reminiscent of period Paris! I would suggest you include jewells or diamantes which will help to reflect light especially as you light levels will be low in October. Antique jewells would again give a 'period' feel to your flowers. You can see all the varieties I have mentioned on our web site.
Hope all gos well with your big day.
Kind Regards,

Wedding theme/color dilemma?

Go away and do it, seriously. Have a magical day just the two of you, it will be something you will always treasure. When you come back you can have a blessing (if you want to do the religious thing) and a party for all the family to attend. I got married in Greece (my hubby is Greek) and although it was a lovely day, it was not the day I had dreamt of since I was a little girl. His parents arranged almost everything and I had no say in the matter, including the guest list. The wedding was huge (about 400 people) and only around 25 of those were my family. To this day I regret not having the wedding I wanted (my hubby just went along with it for an easy life) and I will always look back on it as a day that someone else arranged for us. It cost a fortune, for something we didn't really want!!! Please do what you and your hubby to be really want, it is so important (we still row about our wedding day now). Have a celebration for the family when you get back Good luck and congratulations to you both.

Wedding colors/theme? Vote?

For fall .. you can do those color ... but eliminate one and throw cream into it .. whether its red, yellow, cream .. yellow, orange, cream .. you get the ideal. your theme can be falling in love.

christmas is cute .. you can do winterwonderland .. however, not trying to be a debbie downer .. in most states decemeber can be very unpredictable (this past year weather has been unpredictable all over though .. all hyear.lol) also, christmastime is very crazy for people (hannakuh also) for christmas .. i wouldnt do the c hristmas red .. christmas green .. maybe what the other lady said ... hunter green and burgundy, along w. cream. or hunter and brown .. or red and cream.

pink is very pretty .. what about pink and black .. obv no BLACK flowers though . lol.

good luck,

Peacock wedding theme HELP?

For my wedding..i had 8 round tables..and the hall was huge..so to give the room depth and make it look lush and important...4 of my tables had tall skinny vases with white either ostrich feathers (i know they werent peacock or regular feathers..they were frilly n fluffy) coming out from the top..so it kinda looked like a palm tree...and the vase was covered with this cool white fabric...then it sat on a round mirror with white votive candles..and under the mirror was my black and white damask table square....then the other 4 tables..where round medium sixed vases..and on top was white hydrangeas and white roses in the shape of a ball. There was no green coming from it..so it looked like a big ball of flowers..sitting on top of the med sized glass vase..and dangeling from the bottom center of the flower ball into the vase was crystals strings..reaching about half way down the vase...u cud do sumthng like tht...i originally wanted the peacock design too...but when i strted putting things together..i noticed how strange and errie the peacock eye was...it just didnt look good. I think what brides r n love with are the colors...how its irridescent..and how theres many..turqouise..purple..navy..lime green brown...but really think of the whole picture...think of ur wedding photos..with all these peacock eeyes staring at..kinda distracting..ur colors sound pretty...keep it like that..n just use the color scheme...u cud totally go off the colors for peacock n ur design..good luck..
