Weed Question Should I Trust These People

I hate when my girlfriend smokes weed with other people?

What can you do to stop those feelings?

Realize what they are first... irrational jealousy.

Second, be honest with her about your feelings. Lying to her and asking her to take a break altogether is just wrong and under handed and not your place. You are being abusive and controlling, to a point.

Third, you need to determine whether or not you trust your gf. If you trust her sober, you should trust her on pot too. If you trust her with these friends other times, there is no reason to not trust her smoking.

This is what gets me.... if something was going to happen, it would have happened already, and regardless of whether or not she is smoking pot with her friends. All you are doing now is trying to keep a power trip and maintain control of her social life.

If you are so insecure that you are upset because you feel left out, you need to get your own life, and your own friends, and stop controlling their social life just because you dont have one.
"it just makes me feel..left out?"
Sorry, but that is the definition of controllling... you dont want him to do something because you cant or werent around? I prefer those I love to have as much fun as possible, even when I cant. I even send them on vacations when I have to work. But I bet you are the one who would be mad that he went to a concert even though you couldnt get off work for it?

Can I trust someone who smokes weed?

Indulging in cannabis isn’t a moral issue, period. If you are thinking it is then I invite you to read my blog post entitled “What if cannabis wasn’t evil?” You can find it here: What If Cannabis Wasn't Evil?Frankly in 55 years of life experience I can tell you honestly - There are a TON of people out there that do not consume cannabis that I would not trust as far as I can throw. That being said, there are a TON of people out there that do smoke that I would not trust as far as I can throw. However, the one person I trust more than anyone is my business partner. He’s a college professor that teaches economics at a major university, he’s a retired Lt. Col from the US Air Force that served for 4 years on the White House National Security Council, he holds a PhD, and he is the most honest, principaled person I have ever known. I would trust this man with my life, and he smokes cannabis.Smoking cannabis is something that is done by people in all walks of life, good, bad, honest, dishonest, You name it. Because someone decided that cannabis was a better alternative than alcohol isn’t a black mark against them. You will get a much better answer to your question if you take cannabis out of it and just ask yourself - “Can I trust this person?” The answer you get back will be more accurate, count on it.

Some funny answers to marijuana related questions on yahoo answers!?

Technically your question is a violation of the Q&A format; but I won't won't tell.

I actually responded to a question today where the questioner was asking about "intervening" when she found "oregano" in her sister's pocketbook; because she didn't want her to lose any more brain cells. Among the points I made (I didn't get BA for some reason):

"In fact cannabis use is far preferable to alcohol use; alcohol shrinks the brain; cannabis leads to new brain cell growth and research has shown it may stave off Alzheimer's. For example; see below.
Source(s):
Cannabinoids promote embryonic and adult hippocampus neurogenesis
and produce anxiolytic- and antidepressant-like effects "

I by the way don't use cannabis.

In the quotes you present above people who present quotes who assume that anybody who presents factual information about cannabis are druggies and insult their intelligence. I used to participate on FreeRepublic; my impression was that anti-cannabis posters appeared to have an IQ of about one standard deviation below those of the people who thought it should be legalized.

Does smoking weed make you a bad person?

I smoke weed every now and then. I have high moral values and am very intelligent. I feel somewhat guilty about smoking though, even though it relaxes me and helps to calm my nerves.

What is your advice for a person who is smoking weed for the first time? What to do and what not to do?

here's what I would recommend as an ex-poly-drug abuser.  First of all, evaluate the risks. I think drugs are wonderful but the negative side effects tend to either be played down or over-exaggerated (both are harmful in my opinion, but that's not my point). There are some people who don't experience anything negative--and that's great--but for me, it has altered my memory and senses, possibly worsened my anxiety, and seriously messed with my thinking process. These effects seem to be permanent. I have also met people whose underlying disorders, like schizophrenia, were"uncovered" by weed. This isn't a scare tactic, I just want you to make informed decisions. As for what to expect, other answers seem to have covered pretty much everything: Have cold water on hand, don't give into peer pressure, be smart, be safe, take care of yourself, start at a low dosage, don't expect too much and don't expect too little. At first, it's going to feel as though you're being reborn in the sense that you're going to feel and notice every sensation your brain usually filters out. The air hitting your eyeballs, moisture evaporating from your airways, your tongue sitting in your mouth, every breath carrying the ever present smell of marijuana, etc. Then it might feel like reality almost fracturing into dimensions, little crystals of time and space spiraling away. At this point, do not panic.  Stop trying to claw back to reality, as this can trigger a bad trip. Instead, melt into the sensation, and know it's temporary. (this will all make more sense when you're high) Oh, and a couple of last things: Try not to do it somewhere where you're going to be worrying about being caught. It messes with the high, especially the first few times. Don't drive.Keep in mind that you might not even get high your first time (I didn't). But as the others have said, wait before you take more hits, because the effects can take a while to kick in. I think that's about it...Be safe, take care of yourself, and good luck!

Can you get In trouble for selling fake weed?

You can not only get in trouble for selling fake weed, you can get killed for selling fake weed by the person to whom you sold the fake weed. Were you to sell the fake weed to someone and the one to whom you sold the fake weed to contact the police you can get in trouble with the law for committing fraud but not for possession of weed as there is no weed, only fake weed. This isn't a good idea as there are too many people who smoke weed and many will take the law into their own hands as they don't trust the police to do anything as weed possession is very low on the list of crimes on which they will take action and the jails are full of people who were caught by the police with more weed than the law allowed them to have in their possession at the time of their arrest. The jails all over the country are trying to get the prisoners who are being held for weed possession released so others who committed worse crime can take their place as the jails and prisons all over the country are overcrowded and it's getting worse. I suggest not going to jail or prison as it will be almost impossible to come out alive and not to have been raped by another prisoner.
