Weight Loss Plan For Someone Who Is 300 Pounds

What is the best diet for weight loss for someone who is 315lbs?

Hello, great to here you want to lose weight! Before you start please remember this image below. So here are six simple weight loss tips you can try today.Number 1: STOP drinking beer (or any alcohol), drinking one single beer is equivalent to 7 slices of bread.Number 2: Allow yourself a cheat meal once a week. I know you might think why should I do that? It will do the opposite of losing weight! Well, yes that’s true, but remember you are not a ROBOT. Having a cheat meal once a week will keep you motivated and therefore you won’t think losing weight is too hard and finish by quitting everything.Number 3: Don’t eat the same food every day. Many people eat chicken and rice all the time because there is a low percentage of fat. But after a week or two, you will get bored. Go on some cooking website and try simple and healthy recipes.Number 4: Go to the supermarket after eating. I know it’s weird, but its effective. Once you are full your body won’t desire any more calories and therefore you won’t buy any junk food.Number 5: Buy smaller plates. This again, is another wired trick, but there are over 50 studies to support my tip. Having smaller plates will reduce the quantity of food you can put on it and your brain will think its full.Number 6: If you are still hungry after your meal, eat either bananas or apples. These two fruits will help you full your stomach with a very low calorie count. And if you are still hungry after that drink water or green tea.If you want more information on how to lose weight here is a website I quite like : Tip 4 Fitness | Home

15 lbs. in three months isn't that bad, good job! here is a diet that can help you out:

you should eat at least 4-5 meals a day.

drink lots of water, and eat regularly. don't starve yourself, because once you start eating again, you'll gain everything back, trust me.

eat lots of fruits and veggies, and if you eat bread, make sure it's whole grain. white bread is pretty fattening. you can also eat lean meats, like fish, turkey and chicken breast. eggs also help when trying to lose weight.

skip out on sweets, candy, sugary foods, chips, ice cream, cake, and cookies.

if you feel hungry, but don't want to over eat, chew gum. it'll keep your mouth busy and it tricks yourself into thinking your eating.

cut out ALL soda! if you stop drinking soda, it helps you out a lot!
and don't forget to exercise!

try walking, jogging, jump rope, dancing, crunches, bike riding and swimming. try exercising for 45-80 minutes a day.
good luck!

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

I am 14 years old and i weigh 300 pounds and i need to lose alot of weight any help?

I know how you feel and so do many others and it's hard to go through but it's even harder to change. I also use to be obese, overweight and seriously out of shape and now I am looking great and I am running everyday. I suggest sticking with a Diet, goto your doctor and talk to him/her, mine gave me a diet called The Set Point Diet, it allowed me to eat my favorite foods and still lose weight, I just ate less proportions. I would suggest first eating WAY less and maybe walk around the block once or twice just to get your heart beat going. Do this daily untill you can increase that walk into a jog or even a run. Than you can slowly begin to increase your cardio and lose weight all at the same time. Lay off the pop and junk food, drink plenty of water, eat meats or fruits or vegies. You will be surprised how you feel in one week, my first week I thought it was to good to be true but I did it everyday, trust me kiddo I am 17 and living life to it's fullest, you can do, just push your tears away and pump your legs and live your dream. -Adam

Im 16 and i weigh 300 pounds i need help with losing alot of Weight i don't want to die of a disease?

Diet

No refined foods (frozen entrees, canned/ boxed food)
No solid carbs (mashed potatoes, corn)
No solid fats (brownies, cookies)
Do not just guess calorie count for now, look at it seriously for a few weeks until you get accustomed to it.

Drink lots of water to flush the acid your body produces during workouts.
Eat 2000 Calories per day, divided into 5 meals
Eat colorful healthy vegetables
Eat lean protein with 3 of your meals. (Cheap steak, chicken, pork loin)

In the morning your body is ramping up for the day, your metabolism is peaking out and your body is waiting for you to "catch" your food, when you don't eat your body thinks it's not going to get it's food for the day so it slows your metabolism. Best way to keep your metabolism peaked for the day is to eat breakfast. Working out in the morning is also very good. Don't eat late either, and try to skip carbs for dinner. At night your body is slowing down naturally to go to sleep, and your metabolism is dragging it's ***. What you eat at night will almost definately be turned into stored fat.

Workout
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Strength training - Heavy weights, 8-10 rep max will help build muscle
Your body expends more calories maintaining muscle, so you burn more calories if you have more muscle. Increasing your muscle mass will boost your metabolic rate, so you will burn more calories doing everyday activites, and you will get a nice boost when it comes to doing cardio.

Monday do Chest and Triceps
Wednesday do Back and Biceps
Friday do Shoulders and Legs

Tuesday, Thursday
Cardio
Do a mix of cardio stuff, 15 minute treadmill, 15 minute bike, 10 minute rest, 15 minute elliptical, 15 minute stair stepper

The rest in the middle tricks your body into thinking your stopping, and then you shock it when you get going again. Increases the releassal rate of your metabolic hormones.

EDIT:: It is normal for you to be hungry, but if you KNOW you are eating the 2000 calories, then it is completely safe to be hungry. That is plenty of calories for you body, and it's normal to feel hungry, the hard part is pushing past the hunger. I drink a bottle of ice cold water when I get needlessly hungry.

I weigh 300 pounds and want to go ride a horse this summer. Do I weigh too much?

A horse shouldn't carry more than 25% of their weight (for a big stocky AQHA/APHA type) But for a larger person I wouldn't go over 20% of their weight.
ex. a 1200lb horse can carry up to 240lbs (20%)
or 300lbs for 25%.

A slender horse should carry less (TB/Arab/etc..) like 20%
The shorter the back the stronger it is.
The thicker the legs the stronger they are.

A saddle shouldn't really go over 17" (western) as it will interfere with the horses back and defeat the purpose. However you can have them made special.

My stocky bulldog mare is about 1250-1300lbs and carries my 6'2", 280lb husband on short (2 hour) rides and never breaks a sweat. I'd never put him on my paint though. My paint has small hooves.
I'm sorry the "nice" people didn't take into account that you may be something like 6'3 or something and that you weren't asking for a weight loss plan.

The best thing to do if you want to ride is ask if they have a horse that weighs 1300lbs because of your weight and if they'd allow you to ride.
You do have to understand that a heavier rider (and a novice/amateur) will possibly cause stress and strain on the horse. The weight and balance. They are protecting their investment.

Easy Rider...I'm with you on this one.
