Weird Headaches Over Reacting

Why do I get headaches after eating sweets or oily food?

There is no conclusive answer, but science is getting closer.Sugar spikes trigger headaches. What goes up, must come down. Natural food prevents this with fiber and nutrients. Processed sweets or carbohydrates often leave us with low blood sugar and our brains don't like that. Oily food... You are probably talking about vegetable oils that contain trans fats and large amounts of omega-6. Trans fats decrease brain function and increase inflammation. Trans Fats:  Bad For Your Brain  (soon to be outlawed is the U.S. 2018).Both sugar and unhealthy diets increase oxidative stress (Study) and this decreases your the metabolism of your mitochondria, meaning your brain is not metabolizing energy, meaning you will feel slow, tired, and angry. This makes sense as research is showing the brain actually shrinks from a poor diet (Can a Poor Diet Lead to Brain Shrinkage?).A leading theory is that headaches and migraines are a defense mechanism against this increase in damage from oxidative stress and inflammation. A poor diet increases your probability of dying and headaches say, "stop doing what you're doing, you're hurting the body."

Weird reaction after eating greasy food? Help?

I just ate some pizza and it was pretty greasy. now my sinuses feel really weird and my head kinda hurts. i can tell by the feeling its from the greasy. it just feels like my sinuses are greasy and its an annoying feeling. i also have a bit of a headache. its slowly fading away but its a strange feeling and it always happens when i eat stuff that's obviously greasy, like if you can see the greasy on it, like with some pizzas.McDonald's and wendy's don't bother me at all but for whatever reason greasy pizza and chicken tenders and stuff like that just make me feel sick. i never throw up or anything but its just a really uncomfortable feeling and i usually cant eat anything else 'cause that's what my parents get for me. im 13 and have no food allergies. any ideas? i cant just avoid all ultra greasy foods forever, i do want to enjoy what i eat so don't say diet or go vegan or anything. i hate green veggies for the most part and i refuse to eat anything i don't like. who wants to suffer?

Why do I get a slight headache after eating sushi?

I used to sporadically suffer from headaches and migraines after eating sushi. Through observation and trial/error, I learned that certain foods I was accustomed to eating were actually rich in tyramine - a migraine trigger. It turns out that avocados have an exceptionally high amount of tyramine. Once I stopped ordering rolls/sushi that contained avocado, I never got another post-sushi headache or migraine again.

My boyfriend has had weird headaches. Has anyone else ever had these symptoms? Please read the details.?

No, he hasn't had a CT or MRI. He's been the only income in our household for over 2 years. The only difference we can notice is that he's been promoted. He says he has more stress because of that but he only works 3 or 4 days a week for 12 hours a day. The medication he's using is working for the pain. But his headaches come on very quickly and the medication takes about an hour to work - a very long hour for him. Also, the headaches are so frequent. If they were less frequent it wouldn't be as bothersome. But 2 or 3 severe headaches a day is 2 or 3 one to two hour episodes of pain a day. They don't consume his life, they are his life.

Why does Marijuana give me weird painful headaches?

When i've smoked, i get a headache which goes from the centre to the right side of my brain, and i dont feel anything on the left side. If the brain cant feel pain, then is the constricted nerve endings?

Thanks.

Why does makeup give me a headache?

This is a pretty rare symptom of pore acylticaption. Translated to mean that the makeup seeps in the tiny pores of you skin. The skin is very sensitive, so depending on what powder and foundation you use, it can cause a reaction. The reaction for you was that you get a headache. So my advice to you, is either 1:look at the ingredients in the makeup to see if you are allergic to anything. If not then ask your doctor on further direction to this symptom. Good Luck!

Mom acting weird? Is my mom going through menopause?

hey im 14 and my mom is 46 going on 47 and for some reason shes acting weird. i really noticed it yesterday, we were on out way to the mall yesterday so i can get my sister a gift for her 18th birthday, the mall we had to go to was about a half hour away. i was sitting in the back seat on the right side while my mom was driving in the drivers seat on the left side so i can really see whatever shes doing from the corner of my eye and my mom seemed so tense, stressed, figity. she bent down to scratch her legs a lot, and i think this is from muslce tention or muscle spasms, because i looked that up and its a symtom of menopause, and yeah i dont know? shes acting so weird lately. i also noticed her itching her head a lot and this is a sign on meno too, an itchy scalp. and she just seems like i dont know how to explain it? like shes lost herself? she just seems so blah and she didnt care how she looked at all yesterday she completly like let herself go. it was so awkard with her in the car yesteray. weird is really the best word i cant explain her ask. you probably wont be able to help because youll know how to answer this question less than i do but it would be nice to know your thoughts on this? thank you

Has anyone ever had headaches that come from the loud noise in your head, your thoughts? What is there to do?

I am sorry for answering so late.I experience headaches almost everyday. (Since January)At first I started overreacting the fact that I would get them everyday and thought it was something serious. The more I thought about it, the more it hurt. The pain would vary from heavy to throbbing to sharp to tight to pounding. I only took one pill for it (Aleve) but didn't work...maybe because I kept on overthinking it and making it worse.I would wake up with a barely there headache and would sometimes worsen throughout the day. It would become intense then lessen. Back and forth.I feel like worrying for many months (health issues) has led my headaches to become constant. I do a simple activity like bending down, running, yelling and I feel a small throbbing pain. From time to time throughout the day I would get weird sharp pains. I have learned to cope with them. What is there to do?Cope with it. Thats what I do.Pain medication. (What’s that?)Therapy. Not specifically professional therapy. Music, YouTube (mine!), talking about it.Yes it is a horrible experience. I do not enjoy my headaches at all. It sounds weird but I feel like they are a part of my life....yes I would be glad if my headaches were gone.Just relax. Don't over think (YES ITS HARD TO FOLLOW THAT RULE).Just go with the flow. Relax. And stay focused.
