Weird Numbers And Stuff When People Answer

Weird phone numbers?

Every night for the last couple of days, this really weird number is calling me, on my Cell Phone. It calls at about 3-5 am, and continues for at LEAST 10 times. I answered a couple of times, but I heard some really weird stuff. The first time I answered, there was someone with a Middle-Eastern accent saying: Hello? Hello? At this point, I was convinced it was a prank, so I called back. It said the call could not be completed as dialed, or the number had been disconnected. last night when I answered, all I heard was strange beeping. My friend has received calls from a similar number before, and when we called it back, it said the same thing about being disconnected.

But I have to say, all of this, wasn't even the weird part. The weird part was that the number was 13 digits. i thought that wasn't even possible. I know number can be 10-digits. And it was an 800-number or anything close to that.

In case you wanna try, the number was 234-803-4316756.
It's just really starting to scare me

Weird Number?

It was probably somebody using a fake number. You did the right thing in not answering, and if you ever see a number like 111-1111 or 555-5555 or anything that doesn't look like a real number then it is best to ignore it.

(And no 555 is not a real area code, it was made only for movies, shows, etc.)

Why do people, when asked to "pick a number between 1 and 10" choose certain numbers at a higher frequency than others?

Because the output of the brain is never truly random. There are external factors that influence what number people will pick.  The brain never produces complete randomness.  It can be influences greatly (and in unexpected ways) by the question or experience preceding the answer.  Here's a popular example.Say “Listen to me carefully, do exactly what I say, don’t ask questions." Pause for a few seconds and say “What is 1+5?" let them answer. “What's 2+4, what's 3+3, what's 4+2, and what's 5+1?" Let them answer each time but ask each question quickly.Ask the person to say the number "six" 10 times as fast as they can.Directly after they say the last six say “Name any vegetable."Even when it appears otherwise, the brain never produces random results. What vegetable did you think of?Was it "Carrot"?90% of people will answer "carrot", 8% will answer "celery" and 2% will answer "broccoli"

I sometimes answer calls from unknown numbers but once I say "hello" they end the call. Am I being hacked?

Large telemarketing firms use computers that dial hundreds of numbers at a time. Most people don’t answer. However, on any call where they detect a human voice saying hello, they patch the call through to a waiting agent. If no agent is available in 5 to 10 seconds, they disconnect the call and put it on a list to try later. The game here is to employ as few agents as possible and keep them 100% utilized. If that means that people are disturbed by hangup calls, they don’t give a shit. They still make their money. This is why if you say “hello,” you will sometimes hear a delay of a few seconds before you hear the noise of the telemarketer “boiler room” and a startled agent (who did not call you or hear you say hello) launch into their script. If you want to amuse yourself, pick up the phone and DON’T say hello, and note how long the silence persists before the robodialer gives up.Or, better, say “hello” and then when the startled agent picks up after a few second pause, act like you called them. “How are you doing! I’m so glad you picked up! I’ve been calling for days and I can’t believe I finally got through!” Since they didn’t place the call, they will be very confused since it is POSSIBLE that someone called them, since that’s how they receive calls. Continue the insistent act like you called and they will assume there is a glitch in the system and chase you off the phone.

Will my phone be hacked if I answer a call from an unknown number?

In 2018 I STRONGLY believe that the government HAS INDEED found a “backdoor” to access files & activity on your phone. But it seems that it is ONLY if you recieve the phantom call and you answer it.You will most likely here a very brief tone and the call will disconnect. They then have access to your phone until you run your security . Clean your cache completely and then reboot your phone .I can guarantee you that if you are a target for some reason. That within a day or two you will start recieving phantom calls again.Often times they are numbers that will look very familiar. Using your area code & your carriers suffix. So if your number is 618–234-xxxxThe phantom number will show up as 618–234-xxxx .Try calling it back if you dare. It will be a number that is not in service. Every time.Avoid these calls. Should you answer one or someone picks up your phone and answers it. Then clean it and reboot it immediately.Trust me.

I'm getting weird texts from an unknown number. What do I do?

Personally I’ve been through incidents such as this and nine times out of ten it was just a friend pulling a prank. If you are genuinely concerned about these messages I would reccomend blocking the number and if the messages are creepy in a perverting or stalkerish way then I would give the number to the police and ask them to look into it,Hopes this helps.
