Well Its Christmas Eve And I Want To Get Excited Could You Name Some Christmas Songs For Me To

It's Christmas Eve, I'm 15 and I don't feel excited for Christmas at all, and I usually am. HELPPPPPP?!?

Please help! I'm 15 years old and every single year I'm excited for Christmas. I normally listen to Christmas music late November and early December but I only just started listening to some today! Then on Christmas eve I feel really happy and excited but I don't (especially since my parents were shouting at me today so that got my mood down) but I haven't felt an ounce of excitement for Christmas at all! This Decembe all of my schoolmates were excited for christmas and I wasn't, and I still aren't! And I hate that! How can I get excited for Christmas as quickly as possible?

Thank you and have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!

I don't feel like it's christmas?

Okay so its Christmas eve tomorrow and I don't feel christmassy or anything, we have decorations up and I've been listening to christmas songs but I just don't feel like it's christmas. Idk why cause I'm usually really excited for Christmas at this point!! :( And also, it's been pouring with rain so it just feels like christmas is months away..
What could make me feel more Christmassy?

When do you get excited for Christmas?

I love Christmas! I'm 14 but my Xmas' have been the same for as long as I can remember! As soon as it's New Year, I start planning for the next winter, mainly what gifts I'll be getting for everyone, so I've got twelve months to save up and buy things I know they'll really love...:)
Decorating the house is probably my favourite part of the festive season, except watching my family open their pressies and seeing their faces light up, I love that so much too :D I love putting up the tree and adding the tinsel and baubles and crackers and the angel on the top, and arranging the gifts underneath! We have a candle arch in one of the front-of-the-house windows, and paper snowflakes stuck in the other windows, which is an afternoon's fun to make, too :D
On Christmas eve we go to my grandma's and spend the day there, exchanging presents and having an early Christmas dinner there :) And on the drive back we get the Xmas songs tape out and listen to that :D
On the 25th we're allowed to go downstairs at 7.30, although I'm always awake hours earlier than that! And we open presents, and have Christmas dinner, (i'm vegetarian but my dad and whoever else is there has turkey) and play games like charades and board games, and have Christmas songs playing or whatever CDs people have been given :) And we watch Christmas specials on TV! And get the Christmas fruit cake out and cheese and usually wine or something...
I just love Christmas so much, I can't believe there's only three months until December and everyone else joins the festive feeling...:D

How can I sleep on Christmas Eve?

OK,i had the same problem last year just not as bad!.
what you could do is first mas some hot choclate then dress into your warm PJ's and get a book (not a Christmas book)
read for about 30 Min's whilst drinking the hot chocolate.
this will tire you out buy exausting your eyes and they will ocassionly dropp of then open again.
this is a sign that your tired so when this happens just try and dose off thinking about anything.
repeat this progress also have some cold air in your room this will drop your body tempreture.
im 12.

Tomorrow's Christmas Eve!?

I wish I can say that I am excited. I mean most young kids love Christmas when they are young b/c of Santa Claus. When I stop believing in him since I was 15 (I'm a late bloomer), it doesn't mean that people shouldn't like Christmas anymore b/c every year in that day, I feel like a kid again lol It is the time where we get gifts, and if you believe in God, (I don't know if you do or not), but it is also the time where we celebrate the day when Jesus was born. It is also the time to prepare for the New Year, which is the "hot spot" for everybody to see what they have accomplished throughout the year, and to decide on realistic goals they can accomplish as everybody should move on. Anyway, enough said as a guy. I wrote an essay here lol hahaha Merry Christmas everybody!

Edit: I am excited for this sunday. My yahoo answerer's name tells you why lol hahaha Go Miami Dolphins!!! It'll be the first time hopefully to make the playoff from a 7 year drought, which could be the longest playoff drought in their franchise history if we win at the Meadowlands.

Edit: I forgot to mention that on christmas day, I and my family will visit my grandparents, especially my grandmother who's not doing well :( It's a different experience this time around. It's tough, but my families here in the U.S. and I are holding to each other tight, and everyone else who knows her are saddened as well.

How to make Christmas come faster!?

What are you all waiting for? Christmas?! Haha, to help with keeping busy till Christmas, I suggest listening to Christmas music. Many radio stations start playing Christmas music 24/7 starting November 1st. Or you can always make your own playlist of your favorite Christmas songs. Decorating a Christmas tree or decorating your house is always fun too! Bake Christmas cookies! Build a gingerbread house! Volunteer at a soup kitchen and spread cheer! Read Christmas stories! Watch Christmas shows on TV! (There are tons on)
Before you know it, Christmas will be upon you and you won't know where the time went.

What do you plan to do on Christmas Day?

I will spend the first three hours of Christmas Day at work - dealing with the assorted folks who arrive in the Emergency Department. Some of them will be funny - the various drunks dressed as Santa Claus and the elves, young women wearing skirts which cover nothing, young lads - bravado stoked by copious amounts of beer - bloodied from drunken fights. But there will be tragedy too. There are always deaths. Sometimes of those who have spent many Christmases with family. Sadly though, there are often deaths of young people.I well remember having to break the news to a mother that her 18 year old son had died at ten to midnight on Christmas Eve. She dried her tears and told me that she was going home to 'make Christmas special for the little ones' - her three younger children.I will finish my shift at 3am, and drive the 16 miles to bed. A quick cup of tea and hopefully a little sleep. There are no gifts for me under the tree. But I enjoy giving, and I shall. My parents are coming for dinner. Turkey and all of the trimmings, I will cook and lay the table and clear afterwards. Wondering how many more years I will have them for. My dad is nearly 80 and dogged by ill health.I will have to go to bed early. I will be up at 04.30 on the 26th, back to work again for 6am. Christmas over and done for another year.Happy Christmas all, make it a safe one.

How to make Christmas come faster?????!!?!?!!!?!?!?

Hey, I remember being 14 and being super excited for Christmas months beforehand! I know it's really hard to wait, especially when it's only September and you have three more months (to the day) to wait. I suggest slowly getting into the spirit. Start making a list of what you're going to buy your friends and family (this is a good time to pay attention if you're in the store with them and they say something like "hey, I really want that!"). You can listen to Christmas music everyday if you want, and make playlists for it on Spotify or YouTube. I know I usually love the traditional Christmas songs, but I have fun every year finding newer versions of them or just new Christmas songs in general.

You can look up Christmas recipes online if you want, and maybe even try to make them for practice. You can go to stores and look in the Christmas aisles just for fun (I recently moved, but a friend was telling me the mall by my old house has already started putting up their Christmas displays, which I think is kind of fun, even if it is early). As it gets closer to November, maybe start a guessing game with friends or siblings about when you think Christmas music will come on the radio. Answering Christmas questions on here is a good way to pass the time too. Oh, and don't forget about Halloween and Thanksgiving. They're not quite as good as Christmas, but they're still fun distractions that lead up to it, so you could try getting excited for those to pass the time too.

Good luck, and Merry Very Early Christmas!!
