Were The First People Had White Or Black Skin

Who evolved first, white people or black people?

Why accuse $0.02 of making race an issue? Are we suppose to try so hard to not offend that we can't even discuss the beginning of humanity? SHEESH!

Anyway....

I happen to agree with you- that it's highly probable that the first humans were light complected. While it's true that, as someone else pointed out, there are apes who have darker skin, humans didn't shed their hair when they first evolved from apes. A little more that three million years ago, humans looked a great deal like chimpanzees. Chimpanzees' skin is light in color. And they have pink hands and feet that only darken as they are exposed to the sun as they age.

At that time, humans spent much of their time searching for food in the African savanna. But sometime around one and a half million years ago, they became bipeds and, therefore, capable of foraging over greater distances. However, with traveling comes an increase in body tempature... At this point humans shed their hair. But there was a problem-- the exposure of the skin and insufficient melanin to protect them from the effects of ultra violet radiation.

As humans evolved, the molecular structure of melanin was modified. Long story short, and simply put, human skin darkened. And, as people began to migrate, their skin had to adapt to different environments- the varying amounts and intensities of ultra violet radiation.

I have no doubt that someone might respond by accusing me of claiming that we're all a little "white" or some such other nonsense. It isn't a racial issue. It's merely a melanin issue based upon evolution. Our ancestors were African, and we are all genetically connected. Skin complection doesn't negate this. As I said, it's an issue of melanin and evolution.

EDIT: To those of you who, for some reason, are not understanding $0.02's post: You seem to be unwilling or unable to stop associating black with Africa long enough to think rationally. Simply being in Africa wouldn't have predetermined that the first humans were dark skinned since the first human beings were covered with hair. And, because they were covered in hair, their skin would not have had to adapt to the environment. The adaptation of their skin was only necessary once it became exposed.

Did the first humans have white or black skin? What was the first race?

What a lot of people are gonna hesitate to say is that life started in Africa and because of the amount of sun there, they need enough malenin to protect their skin and that's how they were until after a very long time after the black people who once only lived in Africa went and travelled the world and spread through in every country and continent. Many people say they had small brains so they were no clever enough to build boats or find ways to travel but that’s another story for another day. People under estimate our ancestors even though they were the ones who built all the pyramids and many unexplained things the media keep away from us so we don't find out how amazing they were and how smart.I'm against the fact that humans came from monkeys and today people use that as a racial abuse towards dark skinned people even though monkeys are actually white underneath but anyway, when the media talks about black people's history they talk specifically about slavery and negative things like how Africa isn't wealthy even though it is the wealthiest continent because that's where all the raw materials mainly come from like (diamonds, gold etc). They forget that they are the ones going to Africa and taking the material and feed of Africa like an apple until it gets small.

Why dont white people believe they came from black people?

Yeah they are idiots if they think white were first when Europe their homeland is barely diverse.

Africa is the most diverse continent on earth.
We are all Khoisan in sense that group are the only people on Earth who hold every human trait in their genes (ie any race ior ethnicity trait can be found in theirs). They are a spitting image of how all our ancestors looked like. They use to dominate in Africa but now only reside in Southern Africa and some few patches in Eastern Africa.

The Khoisan are split into two main groups the San/Bushmen and Khoikhoi:

Khoikhoi-

Compare them to the furtherest and last ethnic group on Earth the native Americans: http://personal.monm.edu/ealtekru/native-american.jpg
I can still see some similarities eye shape nose shap skin colour.

If you were to mixed every race on earth they would look exactly like a Khoisan Tiger Woods is the closest example I could think of and looks similar to one and not a white person for those who think white people were the first race.

Were black people the first race on planet earth?

The first modern humans originated in NORTH AFRICA which is not near the Equator. They probably had light brown skin and did not look like modern Africans. Also, modern humans did NOT evolve in Africa at the same rate before leaving Africa. The oldest modern humans are dated 300 000 years and have been found in Morocco:The first modern human skulls in the Middle East and dated 100 000 years had Neanderthal affinities, so they would not have been black:Skhul and Qafzeh hominins - WikipediaModern human, ancient 100 000 year old human (Skhul 5)
