Saving my dad's number with a different name led me to a very embarrassing situation.........Last year I had my dad's number saved in my phone with the name "boyfriend" as we had (rather have) quite a friendly relation and just like that I saved it..The blunder happened in one of my group get-togethers, my phone was on vibrate mode and I was enjoying the pizza leaving it on the chest drawer.And at that point my dad called as it was on vibrate mode I didn't hear it ringing and my friend who was sitting near the drawer in a very surprised way said(actually she screamed) "anu tere boyfriend ka call h!" (anu, it's your boyfriend's call!)And all the people there stared at me like I was an alien on earth (maybe because I carried a very geeky and nerdy image in my group and for all of my friends it was no less than a shock that I got a boyfriend) And as I was getting up to attend the call another friend sitting beside me said "anu tune bataya nhi tera bf h" (anu you didn't tell you had a bf) in a very intense tone.I ignored her question and rushed to attend the call and spoke in the loudest voice possible "hanji papa" so as to clear their confusion and later told them about saving my dad's number by the name "boyfriend" .I saved my mother's number with the name "DANGER"....and for sure she is :P....which got proved again when I was caught :P

Just curious, do you know how you got your name? Were you named after someone? Did your parents just like the name? My name is Honour and I got my name because my mum likes Honor Blackman, but since Honour is the British spelling of the word Honor it obviously made the most sense to spell it that way since I'm British!

Would you date someone with the same name as your mom/dad?
My dad's name was Senguttuvan.His friends, all non south Indians, would call him 721.His dear ones called him Sengu. He would introduce himself as Senn to associates to avoid the awkwardness around getting the name right.In my 31 years I haven't met any other Senguttuvan.If I had dated someone named Senguttuvan, there would have been a war in my house.My dad would have been all excited and energetic and my mom would have been furious for having two people named that in the family.But it would have been a treat to watch my dad grit his teeth if I ever had to shout at my date.“I can't believe you would do this, Sengu.” It would be fun to blast like that and see the look on my father's face.Who knows, my mom would have slipped in a sentence or two actually aiming for my dad.That poor date. I wouldn't have spared him to prank my dad every now and then. He would have cursed his name.Aah! Possibilities and probabilities.
Why has my dad changed?
Well i am sorry u have to go thru all that, it must be tough with a new woman like that in your life. That to u maybe is unappreciative about things? But it hurts you more because the person you are so close with(your dad) is just not the same as he use to be. You could try talking to him about this and see how it goes, without raising any anger in the room. Just tell him straight out how u feel because if you dont let him know then he will never know you should let him know that you need to feel comfortable no matter who it is that is around. Even if he's not meaning to be different he is coming off that way. And if you dont want to live with him anymore you could always move back with your mom right? When i was about 15 i moved with my dad (away from my mom) because we just clash way to much. It was the best thing i ever did, Best of luck to you!
Why did your parents name you your name?
My maternal uncle, grandfather, and back a few generations were all named Robert Lee, after the Confederate Civil War general.By the time I was born, my parents had given up on having a boy, so I was chosen to carry the family burden. They didn't like the name Roberta and my father particularly did not like Robin. So they named me Rebecca instead. Then they further feminized my middle name by spelling it Lea.Overall, I think they did all right. I'm not crazy about alternate spellings, but nobody ever uses my middle name, so I'm ok with that. If I had to be named after a famous Civil War general, it could be a lot worse. At least they didn't name me Andrea Jackie or Ulyssa.My son isn't named after any relatives. Sometimes it's just better that way.

My name is Nicolette Aliya. which means. victory of the people & Ascender. I was named Nicolette, due to the meaning. I was born on grand final day when my fathers team won. haha. & Aliya is a family name. My daughters, Milana Paige & Coco Isabella's names mean: Milana - from Milan, Italy. - My maiden name was an italian name &my husband is a descendant from Milan, Italy. Paige: Young servant - i chose this because when she was in my stomach, she did whatever she was told! "Stop kicking!" & she would stop! + it flowed so well. Coco means Coconut. she smelled like one when she was born, i liked the name anyway, but it was a decider for me! Isabella - pledged to God & i chose it because it runs in my family, bella means beautiful &she is! + its Italian, again! :)

Right . . Mum/Me - Georgia Loren Kenny, I'm 36 and work as a midwife in York hospital. I am quite short, average weight and have brown hair with a full fringe and blue eyes. Dad - Ryan Peter Kenny, He is 38 of average height and has brown hair and green eyes. He loves music and his motorbike and works as a producer. First Child - Grace Lorena Kenny, she is 12.
