Skate shoes for hot weather?
Hey guys! I like skateboarding, obviously, but I sorta have a dilemma. I live in Houston, TX, so you can imagine that it gets balls-hot out here. Every time I wear my DCs, my feet turn into little ovens from Hell, and get soaked in sweat in no time. Does anyone know of a shoe with good ventilation for hot weather?

What should I wear in warm, hot weather?
First and foremost, a wide-brimmed hat, to keep the sun off your head and neck and sun-glasses to protect your eyes. Otherwise, loose, long-sleeved and -trousered clothing. Unless it's raining, you want to be covered against the hot sun. Leather shoes, preferably of the soft kind that you can wear without socks and that you can slip on and off easily but still walk in without unusual attention or effort (only wear flip-flops if you are used to wearing them, else they will make you hot and bothered).The right materials are very important. Wear cloth that breathes. Perhaps counter-intuitively this includes silk, hemp and wool. Cotton and linen both breathe rather badly ; at a push, sea island cotton and silk/linen mixes are ok (both quite expensive). Artificial fibers are a disaster. Im going to my dads this winter for 2 weeks and it snows, i live in georgia so we dont ever have to worry about snow and i dont have but 3 pairs of flat closed toe shoes one of which is wallabees which stains in water the other 2 i have are TOMS and Vans. I was wondering are TOMS warm in cold weather and do you feet get wet from the snow? Or do you have any suggestion for womens shoes that are cute and good for snow?

Well today's weather sucks, there's an awful downpour right now where I'm living. You want to bring some sensible clothes like a hooded jacket and decent shoes. But make sure you also have some lighter pieces because there are still many warm days in September, too. So be prepared to do the layering thing , that' s the best approach to days that can be chilly in the morning, warm during the day, then maybe a burst of showers, then chilly in the evening again.

I just got a job at safeway, What type of shoes should I wear, They have to be all black. I don't want nothing like vans, or converses. And I sometimes might need to catch the bus and walk on days my family can't pick me up. So they have to be weather resistant, warm, and comfortable. Since it is getting winter, I'm contemplating on getting boots or not.
