What Are Some Good 1900

Is a 1900 SAT score good?

Hi hi,

The national average for all three sections is around 1500, or 500 in each subject area (Math, Reading, and Writing). Students applying for Ivy League admission should aim for a 2250 or above. A score of 1100 (all three subject areas combined) is considered low by most colleges.

Here is a sampling of some of the average SAT and ACT scores for colleges:

Harvard (SAT 2250) (ACT 33)
Stanford (SAT 2160) (ACT 32)
Duke (SAT 2150) (ACT 32)

Is making 1900 a month good or bad?

Hi. It's ok.....but its relative to your cost of living. If your bills are only $1200 its pretty good. If your.bills are $1750 its really cutting it exceptionally close. It.depends on how you live. In some.areas that's pretty good. I'd say for a single person that's good cuz you can keep your bills really low. For a person with a child its ok and if you have a couple of kids that's rough. My expenses are really low so that would be a decent amount of money for me. Also, you may qualify for rent.help or food stamps depending on the area you live in. I think its pretty good for my area.

What are some good 1900s rock songs?

If you go back before the 1950’s there was no Rock N' Roll. You had the “Big Band” sound of people like Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Count Basie. In 1946, Les Paul created the fist solid body electric guitar. Before then, you had the 1920’s Blues masters, like Robert Johnson, T-Bone Walker. The groundwork for Rock and Roll was laid down here. Fast forward again to the 1950’s, electric guitar and Chuck Berry's Johnny B. Goode and rock and roll has begun to take shape. Here's what music sounded like in 1904.

Were baseball players in the early 1900's really as good as the players today?

“We can rebuild him. We have the technology. We can make him better than he was. Better...stronger...faster.”

Granted we're not talking about the actual show titled "The Six Million Dollar Man" but we are talking about today's athletes being Better...stronger...faster and most definitely bigger than they were in the 1900's.

Jim Thorpe one of the greatest sports figures to ever grace the earth would get his A$$ crunched (regardless of what anyone says who disagrees with me!) by Herschel Walker or Bo Jackson if he tried to stop them from scoring.

Babe Ruth probably the greatest player in his day due to his pitching/hitting ability would have a really hard time catching up to a Randy Johnson fastball (IMHO)

I'm not saying most of them couldn't compete.

I'm saying the average player then doesn't compare to the average player now both in size and strength ...

No they weren't as good as today's players ... they were the best of the days they lived in but not comparable to today's.

-----

On another note if you're asking if the guys who play today can compete with the guys of yesterday utilizing the same scenario (eating what they ate, living like they did .. literally growing up and competing with them in the same time frame then I believe the comparison would be more fair and probably I would lean more towards the guys from the 1900's.

I think the previous generations had far more commitment to the team/game and fans than they do today.
