Any good country songs about being a Florida girl?
Florida doesn't really get much mention in country songs, there's a lot about other states in the South, like the Carolinas, Georgia, and Alabama. Here's a few that came to mind: "Sweet Home Alabama" - Lynyrd Skynyrd "Carolina" - Eric Church "Back Where I Come From" - Kenny Chesney "Born on the Bayou" - Creedence Clearwater Revival "God Blessed Texas" - Little Texas "Heartland" - George Strait "How 'Bout Them Cowgirls" - George Strait "Louisiana Saturday Night" - Alabama "Small Town" - John Mellencamp

What's that song... country song about a girl, rides a 4-wheeler?
my first thought was dirty girl by terri clark--these are the lyrics: Four wheels churning up a fresh green pasture, throwing mud pies everywhere. I'm beside you yellin faster faster, wind whippin through my tangled hair and you know, you know, there's nothin like it in the world. when your out there underneath the sun and I'm a dirty girl, i like it when we get cleaned up on Sunday, feel my skin against a string of pearls and when we hang out it's, it's just a fun day, you know i love it when i get to be a dirty girl You'll be workin on that El Camino, bustin knuckles with a monkey wrench, i'll come sneakin up and whisper real low what you really needs a 3/16ths, and you know that there's nothin like it in the world, when were underneath the hood and i'm a dirty girl I like it when we get cleaned up on Sunday, feel my skin against a string of pearls or when we hang out it's, it's just a fun day you know i love it when i get to be a dirty girl and you know, you know that there's nothin like it in the world, it might be axle grease and mississippi mud but when you touch my cheek and leave a little smudge I'LL BE YOUR DIRTY GIRL i like it when we get cleaned up on Sunday, feel my skin against a string of pearls or when we hang out it's, it's just a fun day you know i love it when i get to be a dirty, get to be a dirty girl I get to be a dirty girl
Why is country music awful?
Well, taste in music (like many things) is subjective and what you might find horrible other people might like. That being said you seem to have a general answer to your question in your details. One of the primary reasons behind that specific example, however, is that big record companies do not like taking risks and will run trends into the ground, because it makes money. Ideally, country music should reflect the background of the singers and songwriters that write and perform them; back roads and pickups are part of many peoples' lives in the country so some of those people relate to songs about them. You also see a lot of songs about fishing, boats, being outdoors, traditionally associated with living a country lifestyle. None of these things is bad on their own, but what happens is that, as I said before, studios see these making money and don't allow artists to sing about anything else (under most modern recording contracts, unless a musician or band already has a large, previously built fan base they get very little say in what music they write). Then there's people who want to cash in on the trend on their own. That isn't saying that people don't write/sing songs about these topics, because they genuinely like them. Not all country music is like this, though. If you look into it on your own and not only look at what's on the radio and CMT there are many artists with wholly unique sounds.I'd recommend checking outShane Smith and the Saints(Fun Fact: I'm somewhere in the crowd in this video)Roger CreagerRobert Earl KeenIf you want to check out more I've got a podcast about the Texas Country and Red Dirt scenes that are based in Texas, Oklahoma and immediate surrounding states.Southbound I-35Changes made to answer: Putting official videos to the Roger Creager and REK songs.
