What are some good horror movies with happy endings?
The Sixth Sense** Bruce Willis plays a child psychologist who helps a young boy (Haley Joel Osment) that is being haunted by dead people. **Although the ending qualifies somewhat as a more “bittersweet" ending, it still leaves people in a sort of “tearful" feeling so its still considered a happy ending.Ending: Haley Joel Osment finally opens up to his mom about his secret, and Bruce Willis, although he realizes that he is no longer living, comes to terms with reality, bringing peace to himself and his wife.The Exorcist** With the help of an expect exorcist, a priest risks his life to save that of a little girl being possessed by a demon. **While it seems anticlimactic to be mentioning this movie, the ending is somewhat considered “happy" to say the least.Ending: Regan (Linda Blair) was saved by Fathar Karras (Jason Miller). He let himself become possessed by the demon inflicting her and killed himself in order to get rid of it.Further Analysis: Father Karras did what he set out to do: he got rid of the demon albeit at the cost of his life and that of Father Dyer (William O'Malley). While some have argued that this is not a “happy” ending, I firmly disagree. A man sacrifices himself for a child so that she may no longer endure the horrors inside her. While its not a traditonal happy ending, it still justifies as one because thanks to him, she had no recollection of the events that occurred and therefore can grow up without any trauma.

My best friend refuses to watch a scary movie unless there's someone cute in it (Yeah, she's a loser; I know :P) So please help me? Don't say A Haunting on Connecticut or The Last House on the Left 'cause we already saw those :]

Dead Silence, for sure. I thought the movie was going to be a joke...it's about dolls, for Heaven's sake. I was sadly mistaken. I couldn't sleep without a lamp on for a month after watching it.
