Which are the best Korean dramas/movies you have ever watched in your life?
DRAMASAs you have only watched Descendants of the Sun, I assume you are quite new to Kdrama world. I guess you might like to watch new dramas. Out of hundreds of kdramas that air every year, there were many good dramas that were popular in 2016. Out of the dramas I have watched I have shortlisted and recommend you the followung ten best ones (in no particular order)Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo - My current favourite which I completed watching the last. This is a Sports University Romance.2. W- Two Worlds - Fantacy Romance story which a cartoon character’s world and real world.3. Moonlight Drawn by Clouds - Historical Romance which a girl cross-dress as a man and falls in love with a prince.4. The Legend of the Blue Sea - Fantacy Romance around a mermaid and a con-man5. Cheese in the Trap - Hmmm……. University Romance I’d say. Must warn you it has an abrupt ending.6. Six Flying Dragons - Only if interested in Korean History. Pretty long drama with 50 episodes.7. Doctors (a.k.a Doctor Crush) - Another medical romance8. The K2 - A melodrama with action9. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo - Another Historical Romance10. What are some good Korean movies and dramas with crossdressing themes?
I realise that I'm posting this in the wrong category and if it gets removed, I'll put it in the movies category, but I figure that most Korean drama watchers are like me and enjoy anime too, so I felt I would find more here. I've already watched: Coffee Prince You're Beautiful (My favorite!) K-Pop: Extreme Survival. I plan to watch: Ma Boy To the Beautiful You I was going to watch Nail Shop Paris, but I heard that the ending was bad, so I didn't really want to do that to myself. So, please give me Korean dramas and movies that feature a crossdressing main character and have a ending where the two main characters end up together. If you want to mention any dramas that aren't Korean, but are still east Asian, feel free. Please don't mention anything that is a re-make of something I've already mentioned. Any good romance Taiwanese dramas?
Fated to Love You (命中注定我愛你): This drama is older than your preferred time period, but it's really good! The girl isn't needy, she's actually quite capable, as the drama shows you. Basically what happens is the main girl accidentally ends up in the main guy's bed (hilariously) after taking some cold medicine. Later, she finds out she's pregnant and the couple needs to figure out how to live with each other for their anticipated baby. It's so good and funny! One of the best dramas I've ever seen! Hi, My Sweetheart (海派甜心): The drama is about a rich boy who's super dorky and overprotected. He decides to leave home and meets a rebellious girl who teaches him about everyday life. The drama is adorable and the chemistry between the two main characters is really good! Love You (醉后决定爱上你): It's basically about these a guy and a girl who both proposed to their significant other and was rejected. They both end up in Las Vegas, getting super drunk, and accidentally getting married to each other. Of course, they try to undo everything they did, but they end up falling for each other. It's pretty cute, and it's funny! Hana Kimi: The main female character transfers to an all boy's school disguised as a boy. This plot has been done so many time, but this show is so hilarious! Plus, I just love any character Ella Chen plays Down With Love: It's another Ella Chen drama. In this one, she gets a job as a nanny by saying she's a lesbian, as her employer can never find a nanny doesn't fall in love with him. It's super sweet and hilarious and I loved the light-heartedness of it all. Hope you enjoy my suggestions! Give them a try
