Q: Have you seen any good movies lately?Why, yes! As a matter of fact I took the family last night to see Alita: Battle Angel and had an absolute blast. Even my wife, who isn’t a fan of science fiction movies in general or comic book movies really enjoyed herself.Two things, though:It was extra enjoyable for me since I had read the graphic novels on which the move was based and was pleasantly surprised to discover that the story actually followed major plot points from the books pretty closely.It was especially nice watching it in IMAX 3D with “butt kickers” underneath the seats that caused the seats to shake during scenes of mayhem (of which there were many). I plan to buy it on Blu-Ray when it comes out so I can watch it again and again, but I doubt the experience will be anywhere near as enjoyable.
Would you recommend a really good war movie?
No Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket and Black Hawk Down. Those were good war movies, but they're overrated. Would you recommend me something else beside those?
