What do football referees exactly write on the yellow/red cards?
When, I, as a referee award a yellow or red card to a player (yes, award, as they earned it, and therefore receive it.....), I must note:The number of the playerThe time in the game at which I awarded the cardWhat the card was for (there are several reasons for a YC and several for a RC, and all are spelled out in detail in the Laws). After the game, I must submit a detailed report, and I need those notes to fill out the report.I keep my notes on a little card in my back pocket. However, at the Pro levels, the ref will either write directly on one side of the card (with an erasable special pen), or put a strip of white tape on one side of the card and write on the strip of tape, and then replace the strip before the next game. I prefer the 3x4 inch card
What is an A1B positive blood group and what are the characteristics?
The A blood type contains about 20 subgroups, of which A1 and A2 are the most common (over 99%). A1 makes up about 80% of all A-type blood, with A2 making up almost all of the rest. These two subgroups are not always interchangeable as far as transfusion is concerned, as some A2 individuals produce antibodies against the A1 antigen. Complications can sometimes arise in rare cases when typing the blood. So if your blood type is A1B, it means that you have the AB blood type with A1 being the subgroup of blood type A.
Can I sue someone for defamation if that person said to another person privately that I have a mental illness that I don't have?
If the statement was made as a matter of fact, you might have a cause of action.. That would have to be a positive assertion which was understood by a reasonable person to be factual. If the statement was an opinion or if it was a clear exaggeration for the purpose of emphasizing a point, you are out of luck. Truth is a defense to a defamation matter. ExamplesCharlie wasn't at the meeting? After his blow up the last time,I bet he was back in Bellevue on a 72 hour hold again (Bellevue is a large public hospital in NYC. A 72 hour hold has many other names, but it is an involuntary psychiatric admission when a person is thought to be a danger to himself or others). Probably actionable.I saw Charlie with that guy from Acme Co. He was acting like a lunatic. Nope- that's a matter of opinion.Don't ask Charlie about how the Chicago Bears did unless you know for sure he isn't off his meds (implying Charlie takes mood stabilizing psychotropic medications). This is exaggeration to emphasize a point; not actionable. However, if you are on Quora asking the question, you need to talk to a lawyer in the state or country in which the conversation took place. Laws vary, standards of proof vary.In everything legal there is a deadline within which you must act. If you are going to do something, don't delay.
