What Are The Educational Requirements Of Script Reader And Script Doctor

Can you have prescription lenses put into frames from reading glasses?

It is very likely that inexpensive readers are not made properly for optical lens removal/insertion. They need to have a groove in the eye wire to hold the lens in place... also plastic frames need to be heated up for lens insertion/removal and the plastic needs to be good enough quality to withstand the heat. If the readers are metal they need to have barrel with a screw on the side of the eye wire for lens insertion/removal.
Inexpensive readers are not made to last very long and you wouldn't want to pay $$$ for prescription lenses to just have the frame break.... that would be a huge waste of money! Eyeglasses are an investment, so just spend the money on an appropriate optical frame! Most opticals offer frames on special or cheaper brands of frames..... that would be your best bet :)
I wouldn't trust the quality of inexpensive readers even if they were made for optical lens insertion and removal.

What doctors prescribe emotional support dogs?

I inquired online and spoke with a representative for myself and found that a regular doc is not able to write a script for an Emotional Support Dog. The script has to be prescribed by a Psychiatrist. It can be due to Depression, Anxiety, etc. You do not have to be on SSD either in case you're wondering. You can also be assessed online followed by a phone consultation which runs a little over $100.00 and has to be renewed yearly. Check out the official sites.

"What kind of doctors can prescribe medical marijuana?" Your medical doctor. In fact, any medical doctor can prescribe medical cannabis, but they have to give a reason. There is proof that cannabis is beneficial for a selective group patients with a variety of illnesses, like cancer, Tourette's, and therapy-resistent glaucoma. If you get treated for an illness where cannabis can be prescribed, the doctor who is treating you can prescribe cannabis for you. I have glaucoma, so I get a prescription through my eye doctor. I also have persistent pain for which I cannot take the usual painkillers because I have glaucoma, and cannabis works for that as well, so if my eye doctor wouldn't prescribe it, I could probably get a prescription from my urologist or a neurologist. So, if you need cannabis for glaucoma, ask your eye doctor; for cancer, ask your oncologist; for chronic pain, ask your neurologist; et cetera.

Differentiate between synopsis, treatment, first draft, scene breakdown & shooting script.?

Synopsis - a detailed summary of the story.

Treatment - an even more detailed summary of the story, written in prose, with some smatterings of important dialogue if the writer has already come up with some. Treatments may also include an analysis of the story, and other written material meant to "sell" the project to people interested in funding/producing/otherwise contributing to it.

First Draft - pretty much the first version of the script, written in screenplay format.

Scene breakdown - a step that actually comes between the synopsis/treatment and the first draft, it's a summary that breaks the story down into all the different scenes that are going to be required for the screenplay...even more detailed dialogue (which isn't necessarily the final dialogue, but something that gives the reader the idea of what information needs to be conveyed when) as well.

Shooting script - basically a script that (presumably after countless revisions) is at a point where it's ready to be shot. Sometimes the term refers to a version of the script that tends to be more descriptive of the kinds of shots and the camerawork and action involved (as opposed to "selling" scripts, which focus on the story and dialogue and don't linger too much on the details of what is seen onscreen).

Do I need to see a doctor to take prenatal vitamins?

You can actually buy them in the vitamin aisle. You don't need a prescription. In fact, many women take prenatal vitamins while they're trying to conceive, or even just child bearing age, because of the extra folic acid they contain. Folic acid's super important in the first few weeks post-conception, and since many women can't get in to see their doctor, or even realize they're pregnant, it's good to be taking a daily vitamin that covers your daily requirements. Once you do see a doctor, they might write you a script for a different/higher potency prenatal vitamin, but what you can get over the counter should be good for now!

How do I send my film script to a studio (Ex: Warner Bros, Columbia, Paramount)?

Has anybody else that you know read it and given you positive feedback? Is it truly a great script? Do you KNOW that it is? In order to not waste time with this, first make sure that it's truly ingenious and original and will make studio execs mouths water. Just first sit back and think about if your script really has what it takes.
Ok, if you've decided your script is truly great, then there are a couple of options. Yes, you could go after getting an agent. Though that takes money. But doesn't everything these days? Plus it's the most direct way to the studios. Agents do the job for you, though you'll be the one that has to pitch your idea. Also, you could enter your script into a contest. The Nicholl Fellowship is coming up, the most prestigious screenwriting contest out there, and I believe the deadline for that is May 2nd. Visit the website to find out more. Many winning scripts from that contest go on to be actually produced. (Season of the Witch, Akeelah and the Bee.. etc...) Other contests include Scriptapolooza, Slamdance, Pages, and more, though watch out for scam contests that promise too much or have high applicant charges to enter.

Another thing, is this your first script? If yes, bail on it right now. It sucks. First scripts always suck. Though, you won't realize it until you've dropped it and moved on to another. You'll think it's the most wonderful thing since sliced bread until you're looking back at it. I took a glance back at my first script the other day (which at the time that I wrote it I loved with all my heart and soul and being) and cringed with utter terror... oh the atrocity... so to save you the trouble, if it's your first script, it's not as good as you think it is. Really.

To get copyrights on a script, you can register it with the WGA by visiting their resource website and doing it online. Though, I do think it costs a small fee, but I've never used the service so I'm not sure exactly what the fee is, but it's definitely reasonable and definitely the way to go to register and copyright your script.

Hope I helped answer your question! And after you get it registered, I'd love to read it and give you feedback if you need any! Us screenwriters gotta stick together. Good luck! :)

I'm going to go out on a limb here and hope that it doesn't require any 'major' other than being able to show what you can do to get looked at. That's how I got into the game industry and then went on to write a book (different name) and back then, I was a terrible writer so I must have kept the editors busy.I realize I'm talking about two different industries however, I believe there are a lot of similarities between game development and screenwriting. Such as one that I see so often where people are encouraged to sign up for a school that specializes in such things with the belief that they will suddenly become employed by top studios by the end just for graduating. I fear that many people see the title of the program and sign up believing they'll get some fame at the end. I'm only an amature screenwriter at the moment, but if I needed a major in doing it  then I might as well give up now. The best thing to do is to grab a hold of as much learning material you can. You can't write a book if you've never read one. So read other scripts and then begin writing yourself. Collect a resource of scripts so that you can refer to in the event you're trying to write a scene and you know how it should go, but need a similar example just to get you rolling.
