What do the parent's perceive as their role in contributing to the success of the Day Care Center?

They should reinforce basic rules like sharing and minding when at home, so that the day care teachers don't have wild children running amock. (At least, no more than possible!)

What do parents perceive as their role in relation to the Daycare Worker?

As a parent myself who reluctantly put my children in day care because I had to make a living for us. I never really perceived my role in relation to the Day Care worker. I interviewed prospective guardians of my children with a - I'm ashamed to admit - ruthless intensity. I quizzed them about the other kids they'd be dealing with. I made clear that if anyone were to lay a finger on either of them in anger it would not be tolerated. I outlined my methods of calming temper tantrums and stopping all out fights before they happened. After I lost my first child care worker to an out of state move it took me better than 4 ,months to find a suitable replacement. My daughter was 3 and my son was 1 & 1/2 when they started with Sue and in my view the woman should be canonized. She took care of a lot of kids whose parents weren't in the best of shape and every one of them remained friends throughout high school and beyond and not a one got in any serious trouble.
The upshot of this rambling is while the parent may supervise homework the day care provider does most of the heavy lifting. The ultimate goal is to raise an ethical and kind hearted human being and whoever helps toward that goal in even the smallest way is fulfilling a higher purpose in my book.

What are the parent's perceived roles in inculcating values to the child at home?

Usually the parents are the first people to have an influence on a child and it's crucial that it's done properly.

It's the parents role to teach children about societal morals, laws of the land, about what is honest, about what is acceptable to others, and what isn't and the penalties or repercussions..

Parents shouldn't teach children anything about religion. That should be left for the child to decide when it's old enough. They shouldn't tell the child anything about god or heaven or hell.

It's bad enough that parents in western countries lie to children about Santa Claus, Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy. They should leave it at that.

My 7 month old daughter is an American citizen. Are there any government day cares which I can enroll my daughter for free in Miami while my wife and I work?

Working parents in the US pay huge amounts for childcare, and in fact, childcare is likely the biggest expense for working parents, sometimes more than housing costs. Because of this, many families find that the best plan is to have one parent stay home with the infant, and the parent who earns the most or is the most career-centered takes on the role of wage-earner.“Free government childcare” is not the norm for the US by any means. However, parents recoup their expenses with refunds from the IRS, so deducting childcare expenses and perhaps the Earned Income Credit can be helpful. However, if income is so low that taxes are not owed anyway, deducting childcare expenses doesn’t help matters.Sometimes there are “vouchers” that help parents pay for childcare—often times those come into play when a family is going off “TANF” (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) also known as “welfare”. In those cases, in some programs, caseworkers assist former welfare recipients to achieve independence by providing some assistance to pay for childcare. It is true that there are some “Early Head Start” programs, but they don’t always provide full-time childcare, and they don’t always serve infants under one year of age.So, you might actually consider having one parent stay home. Your baby is probably eligible for WIC (Women, Infant, Children.) This program provides some extra food, such as cereal, milk, and other supplemental foods for children five and under (and pregnant and nursing mothers -but I don’t know if the program provides food for non-citizens.) Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program workers at WIC may be able to refer you information on childcare options, too.
