What Are Your Opinions About Wunderground.com

What are your opinions on this?

I was almost brought to tears by your description. Something about it really hit my nostalgia nerve and brought back emotions from my own youth (roughly 15 years ago). All of my first 'experiences' were in public places. I did far worse than what you guys have done in places like a park bench, an alley, a construction site, etc. On several occasions people walked up on us! No biggie though, adults just figure it's kids being kids. Except the one time we were in someone's back yard... they chased us off. In fact, I've made out publicly recently. I live in a city now so you can do whatever you want and other people don't care - much different than my suburban upbringing.Anyway, the point is you did nothing wrong. Just make sure you're happy with the pace of things with this guy. You have the power to slow him down, but you have to be confident enough to say something. This is very important. As long as you're both happy with the pace of your growing affections, feels free to do those things and more wherever the hell you feel like. It's not like you guys have your own apartments. If you're parents don't want to invite him over so you guys can make out all day on the couch, then take to the streets (or park bench!) and do your business there.

What's your opinion on the weather underground?

I think the people who formed all the anti-war activities helped stop the war. They saved lives by putting their lives and fortunes on the line. Even though I marched against the war in Vietnam, was jailed and gassed in DC and Atlanta, even I did not really understand the vital role these people played in the life of my whole generation! By bombing empty buildings they created consequences for the corporations profiting from the war. 50,000 dead Americans and 3 to 6 million Vietnamese died before desperate measures were called for. How many more lived because a bunch of crazy college kids took action? With all the 'media management' I couldn't be sure we were right during the late sixties and early seventies, it just felt wrong to kill people. And for William and Bernadene to survive to play constructive roles in America today is a statement unto itself. I love reading William Ayers interviews and writing. I am hopeful that all the discussion engages enough thoughtfulness to stop the war at hand.

How can you listen to a speaker’s opinions through electronic media without being easily swayed into accepting their opinions?

Because I never assume the first, middle, or last, thing I hear from any speaker or writer is an objective recitation of fact. Writers and speakers are human and fallible in their worldviews—we all carry biases and prejudices and points of view crafted by our life experiences. One person telling me some version of an event, or expressing some opinion of someone’s actions, or offering advice based on his or her experiences, reading, environment, upbringing is revealing their unique outlook on life. They may well believe what they are saying or writing, they may even have solid facts to back up their comments; but they are, in the end, just one voice, one point of view, one word among millions.I’ve been in the company of presidents, CEOs, high-ranking military leaders, and other well-educated, well-rounded, sensible, sane, well-intentioned and well-respected men and women who flatly stated an opinion they hoped I’d buy into, and it just didn’t work with me. I will take their words with grains of salt, go off and do my own homework, review the facts, consider the circumstances, give allowances for the speaker’s or writer’s influences and biases before I give their words any credence. Being swayed by someone’s opinion is a sure road to personal error, and it’s not for me.

What is your opinion on "Climate Change"?

Some of you don't seem to understand that "Climate Change" doesn't just mean the changing seasons...
And CO2, I asked this question to get my own feedback, not someone elses.
Thanks!

Why does President Trump surround himself with crooks like Michael Cohen?

He doesn’t. Why did Obama hang out with Frank Marshall Davis, a leader in the communist party? Or Jeremiah Wright, a Marxist pastor? Or Bill Ayers, a member of the Weather Underground, who blew up government buildings? Ayer’s wife went to prison for her part in killing someone with a bomb. Trump has worked with and hired many fine people. He has excellent people in his cabinet. Irrational Trump haters just bore me.

Where can I find barometric pressure readings for the previous week in Los Angeles?

Go to http://www.wunderground.com, put in the zip code at the top. Scroll down to "History & Almanac". Under "Detailed History and Climate" put in the date you want and click go. It gives you all kinds of data, and barametric pressure is down a little.

Can anyone give me a picture of an adult Saint Bernard and Akita mix?

I have a Saint Bernard and Akita mix(supposedly) he was given to my family on Christmas eve because we could be a good home. He is very entertaining, and a really good dog, most of the time that is, but I have looked all over the web to find a picture of just that mix and have not been lucky. If anyone can help me please send me a link, or a picture if you have this kind of dog.
Thanks, Z
