What Are Your Thoughts On Inter Ordnance And M

Looking for a Mosin Nagant rifle?

I want to buy a Mosin nagant rifle as my first gun somewhere nearby my house. There is a sporting place by my house that has them but im too afraid to call and ask if they have any in stock right now because I am shy. I would appreciate if somebody could call them for me and just let me know if they have any in stock. Here are two places nearby that might have them.

Gander mountain- 419-861-4800
Bass pro shop- 419-891-3900

this is not a prank, i am too shy when it comes to these things and Ill screw it up. I want to buy one because I am going down south with family and were allowed to shoot guns down there so I want something to target practice with and is cheap. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could call those places and ask them if they have any Mosin Nagants and how much they are.

Just bought a I.O. AK 47 Sporter and the barrel is either bent or the front sight is off to the left.?

By I.O. I believe you mean inter ordnance, when it comes to most firearms companies, You get what you pay for. And Inter Ordnance has a track record of producing cheap firearms(in more ways than one). One way to see if it's your barrel or sights is simply to take like a yard stick or ruler as long as it's long enough and flat, and just line it up and if it matches the flat angle, it's the sights. Just remember, that AK's aren't designed to be super accurate. If you're looking for a Great AK, and you have the money to spend, try to get your hands on an Arsenal AK. They're out of Nevada, and they produce SUPER HIGH quality firearms. Anyways, good luck, stay safe. And if you have any questions about anything I've said, I'd be happy to help you at screamingsoundly@yahoo.com.

Why can’t the Marine Corps release my son ASAP if he is unable to adapt to military life? Why does it take weeks to send him home if he is released from the marine boot camp training?

Why can’t the Marine Corps release my son ASAP if he is unable to adapt to military life? Why does it take weeks to send him home if he is released from the marine boot camp training? The release processing is deliberately longer than it needs to be…. For several reasons that you may not like.THE USMC is trying to make Marines…. They are less inclined to give much consideration to misfits - which literally means “people who don’t fit”.The USMC is hoping the recruit will recognize the error of quitting (for any reason) and rescind their request. (See 1 above). The USMC recognizes that almost every recruit at some point wants to quit and necessarily for their future in life as a grown up and in combat need to know, really know, how to function when that panic, fear, worry overwhelms them because on some hill in some future war it will overwhelm them (See 1 above). The USMC has for over two centuries successfully created Marines and Officers that can over come any obstacle, challenge, adversary - so they can tell the difference between a salvageable and non-salvageable misfit. (See 1 above). The USMC knows the regret and shame that comes with surrendering to those doubts will plague the recruit for a lifetime and create a member of society who is less than they can be (See 1 above). The Military Life is not a square hole that only square pegs fit into. It is a square hole that you hammer the ill-fitting peg into! Shaving off the pieces that are irrelevant or useless to adapt the recruit to the new paradigm. Specifically, they will, at some point, be ready to make decisions that have life and death in the balance and not freeze up.In the end it’s up to your son to decide what his future will be. He took a promising first step my signing up. There really are very, very few unredeemable recruits. Just as there are very, very few people who on the other side of their service regret it. It instills a confidence, a tenacity, a esprit de Corps that no other job can give you. He, if he goes forward, will be forever different. My question is what do you want for your son?

What does chair force mean?

I think it means that the air force doesn't do anything, but i don't understand where this logic is coming from considering that all of the branches of the military are all on the same team and have the same goal set in their mind and that is freedom. So how can one branch degrade another? Each branch has the same goal they just specialize in different situations and have different skill specialties. I dont understand the feud between these groups. Someone please explain.

Why is the B-52 bomber still in service?

The B-52 has been a mainstay for the large bomber force since 1959. The airframe is able to be upgraded with new technologies that make having a stealth airframe not required. With the AESIS radar systems and Bluedog deny systems installed, the B-52 is pretty safe from any threat that it may encounter. Besides, why fix what isnt broken? Proven airframe, engines and aircrews, nothing else can compare. For now.

And besides, no stealth weapon has the same effect on the enemy as an aluminum overcast sky.

Does anyone know where I can buy a rebuilt k98 sniper rifle cant afford a original?

You know I was lucky enough to buy an Enfield No 4 sniper years ago and I'm just amazed at how much these are going for. K98s are more. The problem is, with genuine articles going for $4500 and K98s available for $169, some smart guy is going to fake them. And I have seen a lot of fakes or let's say suspicious articles. Problem is the original scopes and turrets are getting rare and very expensive....nearly $1000 last time I looked.

Look, get yourself a nice K98 with an original laminate stock for say $350. Then get a M48 Yugo Mauser in excellent condition, $200 and have that one mounted with a post-war German scope. You will have a fake, but it will shoot excellent and look darn good and you'll have two rifles for under $700.
