What Are Your Thoughts On These Four Girl Names

What are your thoughts on the girls name Delilah?

I absolutely adore the name Delilah, it's my second favourite for a girl on my list as Delilah Ruby Claire / Delilah Ruby Alice. It's classy & sophisticated, sexy & sassy, cute & feminine - doesn't get much better than that. I'm partial name names with the "eye" sound in :) My nickname preference is Lilah [LY-luh] but Lily is cute too, as is Dee.
Delilah Genevieve is beautiful, the two names compliment each other perfectly.

BQ:
Matilda Poppy Hazel ♥
(preceeded by Serena Ivy Belle, Delilah & Carolina Holly Blair)

What are your thoughts on the name Kensington, for a girl? + BQ's?

Generally, I'm not a fan of location names.

What are your thoughts on the name Lavinia?

Love it!

Most other people don't seem to care for it (from what I've heard) but I think it's adorable! It's light and airy, and makes me think of a cute little princess (probably because it was the name of the princess on "Jane and the Dragon" when I was younger, haha). And it's decidedly medieval without being as hard and clunky as a lot of others.
Lavinia Charlotte is great. Since Lavinia is so out-there, it would probably be best to pair it with a more well-known middle name.

For a nickname, I would likely go with Vinnie. But I doubt I would call her anything but Lavinia, since it's so pretty and I just love saying it! :)

What are your thoughts on the name Alma?

The first thing that came to my mind when I read this question was 'alma mater'.
Can't say I'm a huge fan of the name, but it's not a terrible name, and I think it has a good meaning.

What are your thoughts on this girl's name combination: Freya Daphne?

I love the name Daphne. I think it's gorgeous; classy, elegant, dignified yet striking. I never watched much Scooby Doo, so that association is lost on me. Daphne reminds me of one of my favourite authors, Daphne du Maurier, which adds to its appeal.

I'm not sure about Freya. I used to have it on my name list (Freya Sylvie, I think) but then fell out of love with it. I like the mythological feel, but it also feels slightly flimsy to me. Basically I don't think it's the perfect name for me to use, but it's a name I'd like on someone else's child.

Something seems off about Freya and Daphne together though. I'm having a similar issue with Georgia Daphne, which is one of my top combos at the moment, because I love both names. But I don't feel that the names are ideal together; they almost seem TOO similar in style, and since they both have two syllables, the combo sounds a bit flat, it doesn't have much rhythm. I think Freya Daphne shares those issues too.

So, I like the combo and I would definitely notice it if I heard it somewhere. But I feel there may be other names that would combine perfectly with Freya and Daphne separately; I kind of imagine both names going well with a popular classic type name, like Freya Charlotte or Daphne Madeleine. I'm hoping I'll find the right middles for Georgia and for Daphne at some point!

Girl names for four sisters in a story?

Thanks for all your suggestions, I just want to say that I'm new to this website, and I was so suprised how quickly I got loads of replies, thanks a lot everyone!
Ok so I think I'm settling on these:

Evelyn (nickname Evie or Eve)
Alexandra (nickname - Alexa or Allie)
Kaitlin (nickname - Katie or Kate)
Jessica (nickname Jesse)

For their middle names I'm thinking of having flowers (or is that a bit weird?)
Which do you think go with the names above best?

Rose
Iris
Clover
Poppy
Violet
Primrose
Jasmine
Lily
Bluebelle

And finally as a surname:
Francis
Richards
Rhyder
Everett
... or anything else?

Girls' names that sound evil?

Millicent
Coral
Florence
Violet
Eleanor
Ruth
Morag
Ivory
Cecelia
Blair
Harriet
Lilith
Coraline
Esther
Georgia
Lenore
Aura
Beatrice
Laura
Ophelia
Ebony
Desdemona

I think Violet would be good, because it's an old-fashioned name and it also has the connotation to a "shrinking Violet" (meaning someone who is quiet/shy) which would fit your character pretty well.

Hope I helped ;) xx

What are your thoughts on the name Grace for a graceful baby?

I think Grace is a very pretty name.We were actually considering it as a second name for our daughter, not because she was especially graceful, but because as a reminder of God’s grace shown towards us.In the end, we didn’t use it, because her first name means grace and we thought that would be weird.

What do you think of the girl's name Rosalia?

It wouldn't be a personal pick of mine, but it's an okay name.
