Today I was caught in a borderline flash flood carrying a brand new Fossil bag (leather, as previously stated). Needless to say, it's completely messed up now. Structurally everything is the same as before, but the dye on the bag has been affected by the insane amount of water and now there are stains on the bag, each water mark is surrounded by dye (basically the dye has shifted). The good news is that aside from these borders, the overall tone of the bag is still even. What can I do to get rid of these marks?

How can i make my fake leather bag softer?

Massage the bag with your hands.
Although it is fake leather, if it is rather thick, then you will most likely need a special machine for sewing new lining back in (the same one you would need for sewing leather).
A tip for the future is that most leather bags that are easily mistaken for real leather...you can tell the difference by taking a finger nail and pressing it into the leather (not TOO hard)...the leather will only display a small mark, if any and then fade.
The fake leather will easily indent, but will also fade. :)
