My dog just pooped on me again! what can this possibly mean?
I really hope someone can lend some advice or at least give me an idea of what the motive behind this erroneous action is. Yesterday, my dog pooped on my lap while I was watching TV. Today, as I was relaxing after getting home, he let go right on my foot! I do not understand this! I take him out every two hours and he does #2 an average of 3 times outside. A solitary turd was the dropoff during said incidents as if intentional. Any advice would be greatly appreciated because my previous post was erased for some reason.

Generally I recommend 6 months of basic puppy training/basic obedience/socialization, 6 months of advanced obedience including leash free commands, 6 months of public access training and 6 months of task training. If you do not have a trainer willing to put in the time each day to do this you will fail.

It can also be a sign it is uncomfortable, either anxious or not feeling well.Dogs don't sweat like people do, because they have fur all over their bodies. The can sweat through their paw pads and then by panting. The more a dog pants the hotter the dog is. Watch how the tongue will actually become wider as the dog become warmer. A wider tongues allows more surface area to cool down with.You can also help your furry friend become cooler by wiping it's paws down with cool water. Even better give it a quick soak in a tub or outside with a hose or bucket or even a kiddie pool.He he isn't warm, than something is wrong. He could just be anxious or he is sick and worse of all possibly poisoned, though the chances of that are rare if you keep an eye on your dog most of the time. Anxiety is actually fairly common for dogs, some more than others. If I take out the nail clippers my dog gets very anxious. He hates having his nails cut, even the nail shaver doesn't calm down his anxiety, but it's a lot easier to handle. He pants like crazy and tries to hide. I have to be very sneaky to keep his anxiety down.
My 15 year old dog drowned in pool?
My 15 year old dog was found in my pool floating she was maybe in the water 4-6 mins I jumped in when I saw her got her out and she seemed to be alive moving her leg breathing a little making some noise but maybe after 1 min she froze and water mixed with blood came out of her nose and she was gone. I was hoping you could tell me how she could of ended up in the pool and what does the blood from the nose mean.
What can I feed my old dog with bad teeth?
My dog is a bird dog X border collie. She is 9 and eats well. but her teeth hurt when she eats her dog food. She eats Kibbles and Bits: Original. I would like to feed her soft dog food, but it is so expensive for good soft dog food. At least at Wal-Mart and Pet-Smart it is. I don`t want her to be in pain every time she eats her food, but don`t want to pay alot for soft dog food. What should I do???????

We had a spaniel who had a puppy at 13. She refused to feed it and it died. I think it best to check out with the Vet or at the pet shop. It maybe something else.

Now, are you saying it's wrong as a religious reason? Because, either way your going to kill. It's her or the puppies. So either way one may have to go. As a reasponsible owner, I would hope you would choose you keep your dog. Isn't that the reason you bought her? To care for her as long as she lives? She's so young, I don't think you want to see her go, to have puppies that may not even live. Why loose her for puppies that may or may not live? That may or may not have disfunctions? That you won't even keep? I would think more about your own dog, Kris. That's a moral thing to do. Try to keep her alive. She's your compainion, and friend. She's special and important. She should mean more to you than puppies you haven't met yet. The mother dog would be in more pain than the puppies inside of her would me. I'm sure you didn't buy this dog to see her go in eight monthes because you wouldn't have an abortion. Keep in mind abortion is totally different when it comes to dogs. Really it is. It makes me angry and sad, that you would let your dog go through all of this, because of babies. It's like your mother getting pregnant and losing her to a baby. It's just sad and heartbreaking. I think as a reasponsible owner, you would get her an abortion. Do you understand that this is very serious? That your making a decision that can affect your pets life? I would concider this, before you even THINK about having these puppies. I really hope you'll change your mind, and do what's best for your own pet.
