Well, if your talent is juggling, wear a clown suit. If it's playing violin, wear a nice dress. If your talent is singing or playing in a rock band, wear jeans and a shirt and flip-flops if you want. You should pick an outfit that goes with what you're doing. A casual song could work with a casual outfit, it all depends. EDIT: Yeah, based on that song choice I'd say the outfit you described and the flip-flops would be OK. Don't wear anything shabby looking, but casual bright looking clothes would be good.

First of all, let me start by saying kudos to you for choosing such a challenging song to sing. I really hope that you can do this song justice, because I cannot tell you how many times I have heard people absolutely destroy this song :/ BUT, that's besides the point. I wouldn't wear a red dress. I think it will be too flashy. The song is so deep and beautiful and powerful, and a big red dress would just be waaay to much. Try a little black dress (or something else simple in a neutral colour), and if you want to turn it up a notch, add killer shoes. The shoes are an alright touch because they are small enough to add a bit of glam factor without being too distracting. Also, go easy with the accessories. A sexy updo like a french twist would be AMAZING and smoky eyes with thick eyeliner would pay a little bit of hommage to the fine artist herself. I guarantee you will look like a complete babe and uber sexy, but it won't be too distracting from the amazing song. Remember, the song IS your talent, after all, and looking great should compliment it, not steal from it. Best of luck!

i am singing Beautiful by Christina Aguilera for a school talent show but i have no clue on what to wear? i am 5,6 and (yes a girl) have dirty blond hair to my sholders i don't want to wear something disucsting because of the song but i don't want to wear showing off clothing since it is in school any ideas?

I'm acting as emcee for my middle school talent show, but I don't know what to wear. At first I was thinking ultra formal, but then I was leaning toward a tad more casual. I'm seriously considering dark jeans, a dark red or dark blue dress shirt (tucked into the jeans with a belt), and a black blazer jacket. I really don't know what to wear for shoes - black loafers or grey converse? Do you think that's a good idea? I was also thinking jeans, dress shirt and tie, with one of those semi-formal sweaters on top that just show the top part of the tie and the ends of the sleeves. Honestly though, I need some desperate help. I'm a 14 year old guy :)

If its just like an audition then tracky bottoms/sweats and a vest top or T shirt.But if its like a proper performance then Outfit choice 1 : some leggings and a loose skirt, plain tank top and pushed down leg warmers (leg warmers optional) and pumps /slip on shoes.Outfit choice 2 : baseball cap ,funky hoody / jumper ,cool trainers and 3 quarter length combats.Outfit choice 3 : cotton shorts (optional leg warmers) cool tank top and tied back hair .Outfit choice 4 : a long ,tight top ,down to the knee leggings and a shrug / waist coat. Outfit choice 5 : loose mini dress ,with (optional) shorts ,tights or leggings ,hair down either straight or curled ,big earrings. My friend and I are doing the song Love the Way You Lie for the talent show. I'm playing the piano and singing Rihanna's part and she is rapping Eminem's part. We're not sure what to wear because it's not a formal song or event so we don't want to wear dresses and our everyday clothes don't exactly work well with the song either since it's mostly cowboy boots and sports wear.
