What Color Combo Is Used On The Car In The Front With The Purplish Blue With Yellow Pearl In This

Why does fire have several different colors?

The familiar red-orange-white color from traditional flames comes from the incandescence (hot glowing) of small, solid, half-burnt fuel particles billowing up in the air. A lot of the people think these colors comes from the air glowing, or plasma recombination, or from the direct chemical reaction itself, but these are all misconceptions. Typical fires are not hot enough to make the air itself glow or to create a plasma, and the light given off directly by the chemical reaction is faint. For most typical fires, there is not enough ambient oxygen in the atmosphere to keep up with the burning of the fuel. As a result, some of the fuel carbonizes with itself instead of reacting with oxygen and floats up into the air, giving rise to small solid particles that make up soot and smoke. These soot particles gain heat from the reaction and get so hot that they start to glow with visible light (incandescence). As they float up in the air, these particles slowly cool and their thermal radiation emission spectrum shifts down to the infrared. That is why the bottom of the flame is mostly white, the middle is mostly whitish orange, the top of the flame is red, and above the top is infrared light (which we can't see, but an infrared camera can detect). http://sciencequestionswithsurpr...Now that you know that a flame's light is caused by incandescing soot particles, the next equation would be, "why does incandescence lead to many colors?". The answer to this is that incadescence is the process of molecules continually bumping into each other because of their temperature, getting excited by the collision, and then emitting light when they de-excite. Because the collisions making up thermal motion are random, the excitations are random. As a result, all sorts of excitations with different associated emission colors occur. Thermal radiation involves a big mess of molecular collisions, excitations, and photon emissions, and therefore leads to a broad spectrum containing many colors. If this broad spectrum is centered around yellow/green, we see it as white since it contains all the color we can see. If the broad spectrum is centered around red, or even infrared, we see it as red since we can't see the infrared components of this broad distribution. Therefore, because of the limited window of colors that the human eye can see, thermal radiation appears red, orangish-white, white, whitish-blue, or blue:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bla...

Why does a red flower viewed by a green light appear to be black?

White light is composed of varying wavelengths of light. Different wavelengths appear different colours to our eyes. A red flower appears red because it reflects wavelengths most strongly in the red part of the spectrum (about 650-700 nm). Other shorter wavelengths are absorbed by petals.By shining a green light, you are using a filter to remove wavelengths of light that are not green. The filter works by reflecting non-green wavelengths, and allowing only green wavelengths to pass through. As a consequence, the only light to reach the petals is green wavelengths, which are absorbed and not reflected by the red flower. The result is that little light is actually reflected, creating our perception of the flower as black.

Which type of paint is best for interior wall?

If you are deciding to get the interior of your home painted you have to first think about the look that you want for your house. Whether you want a glossy paint over your walls or you want a matte look for your house or if you want a combination or you can say the mixture of both.So basically there are a ’n’ numbers of interior paint from which you can select the idle paint for your home. and they are categorized as follows:Matte paint or matte enamel: This gives a very simple and sophisticated look. It is common kind of interior paint that is applied over the walls as it gives a very natural and a simple look that most of the people want for their homes. This gives a very formal look to your home. The advantage of matte enamel over matte paint is that it is more durable than the matte paint.Satin or semi gloss paint: Satin or semi gloss paint is a paint that is somewhere in between matte and loss paint. It neither gives a matte finish that indicates sophisticated look nor gives a very glossy look. It gives a soft sheen that makes the wall with a matte finish glow. It can be one of the most idle choices for you to select the best interior paint.Gloss paint: The glossiest of all. It is the kind of paint that gives a nice glow over the wall. How much will it cost to repaint, and what is the best paint for a Royal Enfield Classic 350 to Desert Storm?

I agree with all points in the response given by Swagat Patasahani. I would like to answer this straight to the point without diverting to other points such as updating the vehicle papers, etc, which has already been touched up on by Swagat. If you’re repainting, don’t go in for a quick job in which the painter will mask the rest of the bike leaving the parts to be painted exposed and then paint without having to remove the parts. Have all the parts disassembled and then paint them individually, which will yield a showroom-like finish if the painter is skilled.Strip off the old paint and then go for iron oxide + primer + paint + lacquer. Here, the lacquer will yield the matte finish. There are different grades of matte lacquers available ranging from satin to rough matte. Choose right at the beginning.Insist that you want at least 2 coats of paint and 2 to 3 coats of lacquer for good longevity.Regarding the raw materials, I suggest you go in for 2K acrylic paint - Du Pont is a good brand. The raw materials would roughly cost you around Rs 4500 to 5000 for the whole motorcycle - I guess mud guards, chain guard, head casquette, air filter box, left and right toolboxes, tank. You can even paint the chassis and center stand in Desert Storm like the company does, else keep it black along with other small parts. The labor cost in India would be another Rs 3000 odd for the entire motorcycle depending on the skill and reputation of the painter. Which means you’ll have to spend roughly around Rs 9000 for the entire job, including disassembly and fitting.Edit 1 (28-Aug-2018): It’s been over 2 years I answered this A2A :) Just wanted to update the cost of raw materials in point 4 and the labour cost in point 5. Add Rs 500 to 1000 to the cost of raw materials and Rs 1500 to 2000 to the labour cost. As of today, a good paint job would roughly cost you around Rs 11,000. Rest of the points are still valid.
