Clear answer: CVT. Would I get one any time soon? Hell no.CVT’s are incredibly practical. As per my knowledge, I know bit about 2 best Cars near this budget : 1st : Maruti Suzuki Baleno Zeta 1.2 Petrol (I have one) 2nd : Hyundai Elite i20 Era 1.4 CRDi DieselI would recommend to go with Baleno considering the best in class after sales service and made for India car.Wonder why ?? Here are few things which I liked in this :First of all it comes with all safety features from it’s base model i.e ABS, EBD and at least 2 Air Bags.So here you get the top model of Baleno petrol with on road price of ~7.6 lacs and that too fully loaded.Here are few inclusions of fully loaded :Automatic AC(temperature set) and LED screen touch display with rear camera and reverse sensors, Bluetooth music system with steering mounted controls.Classic Alloy wheels :Projector headlamps with DRLs. This enhances the front chrome work.These are few features which I liked the most and there are quite a few more like rear seat 60–40 split for more luggage loading. Sedan like boot space. Key Less entry and start.The best thing and consistent from Maruti Suzuki is the mileage. I get it around 16kmpl in city and above 20kmpl on highways that too with 5 people and luggage.I hope you got an idea on pros of this car under 8 lacs budget, rest the decision should be the based on the feel of a person.
