WHAT COLORS LOOK GOOD ON DARK SKIN?
im a 15 nd i have dark skin but i don't know a color that looks good on me no matter what shade the color is. My two sisters are really light skinned and they are always wearing pink any shade of pink and it looks ssooo pretty on them.But I cant find my color that looks good on me. What color makeup should I wear with a pale sage green (minty green) dress???
First of all, I have to say that I've been wearing makeup since I was about in 6th grade and I've never had anyone say anything bad about it (that i know of//not that I would care if they did). Almost all of my friends wore makeup at that time and if not they started a year later. Second, I believe that all girls are naturally beautiful in their own unique ways, but that doesn't mean we cant do things to enhance our beauties. Further, I believe that wearing makeup at 17 is extremely normal!! To go on, It sounds to me as if your insecurities surrounding weather or not you will be looked down upon sprouted from your own judgement towards other girls wearing makeup in their teens and pre teens. Listen, some people will look down on you BUT the majority of people wont. The ones who will are most likely older people who want to keep their children young and innocent forever, they cant except the fact that 17 years of age is not a 5 year old. You are not a baby anymore, you have been on this earth for 17 entire years, and God above correct me if I'm wrong but that does seem to warrant some kind of bloody control over what u put on your face and wearing makeup if you damn well please. If a younger person around your age has anything to say about it, it was probably learned from an older person in their life who DOES NOT understand what it's like to grow up in this day and therefore should just hush on the whole ordeal. Getting to the point, A 17 year old girl wearing makeup is as bloody appropriate as a baby sucking on a bottle. Whats really important is what you think, what you want, darling. Darling, do what you want and hang the others. Makeup lovers tip: If you want to keep that "good skin" , you better do your research on which makeups are the best, and I better not ever catch you sleeping with makeup on your face. Use face wash before bed every night, and then a sort of lotion. You should be good. Good luck with decisions.

It depends on if it's a natural hair color or if it's dyed a bright bright orange. I'll go with naturally orange on this (if it's the other way please let me know). I'll also assume that you hair fairly light skin tone. Now red lipstick can be very very pretty depending on your outfit. If you're dressed up more, go for the red. If you're in jeans maybe a very light pink or a more natural tone. For eyeshadow I would say it depends more on your eye color. Making the assumption you have green eyes (which is common with red hair), I recomend a purple or brown. Don't over do it on blush. A little blush will go a long way and it's best to maybe stray away from the really red blushes. As a disclaimer I'm not a professional in the field; I'm an artist. I hope this helped.
