I had a testicular torsion operation on both sides 12 days ago. This morning I was so horny, that I started thinking about sex. About 20mins later I realised that I had started wanking gently. If touching quarters or copper does cause testicular cancer, what do we do about it?
True, testicular cancer deaths are few and far between (I once read that even Stage IV has a 5-Year survival rate of over 60%), but the cost of curing the disease and the mental (let alone physical) trauma the patient goes through to cure it can be pretty damn harsh. If it did turn out that copper was somehow responsible for a moderate or severe increase in testicular cancer risk, then we should do everything in our power to switch to a different currency medium. I feel the same is true for ovarian cancer, except that ovarian cancer is far more deadly than testicular, so our measures to counteract that should be more extreme. Either way, is there any scientific evidence that Cu is somehow linked to cancer? I've never even heard of this before. Cu is a transition metal, low on the periodic table, not heavy, and it's usually not terribly reactive (then again, benzene is hardly reactive and look how carcinogenic that is). There need to be extensive studies on something like this.
What Could Be the Cause of My Testicular Pain?
For the past few weeks, I've had a pain in my right testicle that comes and goes. The pain is usually accompanied by a discomfort in my upper right pelvic area. It lingers for about 20 minutes and then goes away. Sometimes the onset of the pain is random, but it has come after urination and ejaculation. Other worrisome symptoms I've recently had are swollen lymph nodes, a sore throat, and a low fever. I lift weights regularly, but I don't lift anything super heavy. I had recently started using A-HD, a testosterone booster/estrogen blocker, when I first experienced the pain. I'm wondering if that could be the cause. I've had the same sexual partner for three years, so I'm not worried about STDs or STIs. Last Thursday I had my doctor do a testicular exam, and she didn't indicate that she thought it was torsion or a hernia or that she found any lumps on the testicles. My urine tests didnt reveal any kind of infection, but she still diagnosed me with epididymitus and put me on an antibiotic. Today is my last day taking the medicine. Since starting the medicine, the pain hasn't come back. A few hours ago, though, it came back. I'm starting to worry. Has anyone else had any experiences like this?

What is this pink lump on my Syrian hamsters testicle?
I have a male syrian hamster. He is probably about 6 months old, although i am not quite sure. I found a lump on his testicle this evening. Its on his left testicle. It is pink, not dark red. I was feeling around the area & even felt on the lump, and he displayed no signs of pain, or squirming. He ate his food this morning when i fed him & last night he was on his wheel for hours. He hasnt displayed any sickly behaviors or become feisty, but i am concerned about his well being until i can get him to a vet in the morning.
