There was this guy, worst than your bf actually, every time he heard anime, he was reminded of hentai. That's all he could think about anime. Honestly. I felt pathetic for him. Then one night, we were all gathered in my house with a whole bunch of friends who were all... familiarized by anime but weren't exactly addicts like me. Only a few of them maybe. So then we decided to start watching an anime just for fun. It all started with an argument actually. I don't wanna go into detaild so it's just that my friend told me that anime is such a waste of time and it's for kids so I just wanted to prove them wrong. Then I just wanted to show them a good anime so they'd understand. The anime that I showed them was Mirai Nikki. I'm not kidding. They got addicted after the second episode. So unpredictable. Then we watched the anime for the whole night. I regret it afterwards actually cause I think it was a very useless sleepover. I already watched the anime before so it wasn't as enjoyable for me but I guess it was fun. All of my friends came to like anime afterwards. And the guy with the hentai, now keeps asking me to recommend him good anime. So after all this story, I think what you need to do is to just force him watch some good anime with you, something that gets him addicted. Maybe it'll work. Just remember it has to be something that gets him addicted right away, or he'll get bored and won't pay attention. If you want good anime, I can recommend you some.
