What Did You Think Of Ruth Ginsburg

How long do you think Ruth Bader Ginsburg can stay on the Supreme Court?

How long do you think Ruth Bader Ginsburg can stay on the Supreme Court? If a Democrat is elected in 2020, she’ll retire, I think. If Trump wins in 2020 she’ll solider on and hope the Democrats can flip the Senate in 2022, figuring that a Democratic Senate can withhold confirmation (or even consideration) of any nominee they really object to.In actuarial terms, Ginsburg “should” live another 6–7 years. But of course fate and life have a way of not respecting our plans and desires.

Do you think Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be returning to work?

If arriving drunk and sleeping all day is “work”.

What do you think of Ruth Bader Ginsburg slamming the liberals attacking Judge Kavanaugh?

She didn’t, she slammed the entire Senate for making the hearings a partisan affair.Ginsburg stated, “The way it was was right. The way it is is wrong… I wish I could wave a magic wand and have it go back to the way it was,” according to Amy B Wang, a Washington Post reporter.Meaning she slammed all the Senators not just the Liberals. Reading comprehension is your friend!

Does Ruth Bader Ginsburg suffer from?

The Democrats have convinced themselves they will win large majorities in both the House & Senate in November and win back the Presidency in 2020. I don't think they are correct, but that was the reason for the crazy opposition to Kavanaugh. They thought all they needed do was delay his confirmation until after the new Congress is seated in January and they would be able to block it permanently. That would let the new Democrat President appoint leftists to the USSC in 2021 and maybe even expand the number of Justices to make the USSC overwhelmingly leftist forever.

Do you think Ruth Bader Ginsburg has earned the hype surrounding her?

She's been a Supreme Court Justice for over 25 years. Anybody who holds that high office for that long without completely embarrassing themselves deserves alot of respect (regardless of their political leaning). I don't have any problem with people hyping her up (even though I lean to the right).

Do you think Ruth Bader Ginsburg will remain a Supreme Court Justice throughout Donald Trump’s presidency?

Do you think that Ruth Bader Ginsburg will retire before the end of Donald Trump's presidency? Why or why not?Of the nine Supreme Court Justices, Ms Ginsburg is arguably the most political. No, she will not retire while Donald Trump is President. She may not live long enough to see another President, however.I’m not wishing this upon her, I just wish she would retire and spend her last years enjoying her family and retirement. While I disagree with many of her rulings politically, she deserves appreciation for many years of Federal service to the public. Thanks for the A2A, Eddie.

Do you think SCOTUS justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will soon be back on the bench to hear oral arguments?

I really think she will. She is a tough lady and has faced health problems before. I think that she will retire if she isn't able to perform her duties, and I know she doesn't want to retire while Trump is in office.I think she will power through the rest of this year if humanely possible, even if it is detrimental to her health. McConnel has said he will not bring a nominee to the floor for a vote if nominated after the first presidential primaries. With that in mind Justice Ginsberg only needs to make it another 13 months. The Iowa Caucuses are the 3rd of February 2020 and the first real primary is in New Hampshire on 11 February 2020.If she doesn't die she will be back is my thoughts on the subject.

Do you believe Ruth Bader Ginsburg has done a good job as a Supreme Court Justice?

A2ADo you believe Ruth Bader Ginsburg has done a good job as a Supreme Court Justice? It is important that there are dissenting and, as Dale Jensen said, “fringe” voices on the court. Why? Because contrary to ideologues, cases that reach the Supreme Court are rarely cut and dried, 9–0 and winner by knockout cases. These voices from the dissenting side, while not influencing the decision, can and do have standing for future similar decisions. While I don’t always agree with Justice Ginsberg, many of the cases she has decided on, has come down on the side of individual rights which is something that should absolutely be respected. It should be noted that Ginsberg, while being labelled a left leaning liberal, she is not in the same class as Justices Douglas, Brennan, Marshall and Stevens.
