DO MOST ARABS HATE BLACK PEOPLE?
my granfather once said some arabs even enslaved some blacks? and he once said he didnt want anyone in the family marrying a black! or african descent person! why do most people who arent black seem to dislike blacks? im actually kindve mad that he once said that because arabs arent really very white themselves and its also because i once seen a black women that was more beautiful then the fat blonde white girl in my school LOL! so he kindve made me mad! but do most arabs hate blacks? i mean my grandad was like a light brown complexion had black hair etc he wasnt lilly white in any way he was darker then the italians and even mexicans for example! i dont know why he hated the black so much! he said they were savage criminals who are lazy and do nothing but crime that they dont progress etc i felt sad because it was 1980 when he told me this i was only 7 years old! i think it was because detroit had the worst most ghetto type of blacks? and my grandad also said that his sister (my aunt miryam) went on the wronmg bus and it was full of detroit blacks and almost got raped by some gang of blacks and so his family moved to dearborn and later to dearborn heights michigan! stuff like this saddens me because not all blacks are like this i had african american friends in dearborn high school for example and i never hated them because they were black! i mean some of the prejudice american whites of irish polish descent hated me cause my nose was big and i was was hairy olive skinned and i looked arab etc! can someone tell me why blacks are hated so much i mean not all blacks are violent ghetto savages are they?
Why do some arabs look like black people?
Somalis, Ethiopians and Chadians are NOT Arab. There are some Arabs in Sudan but since the Arab colonization, Arab culture has become kind of mainstream in Sudan. So many black Sudanese have come to identify with the culture. The black ones aren't Arab ethnically.

Islam completely abolishes racism, it has nothing to do with religion. As for Arab (I talk about those who follow culture and tradition not religion). There are also Arab Christians, Jews etc who are just as racist and racism exists all over the world unfortunately and nothing to do with beliefs. The degree of racism really depends about the country. In countries like Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan there aren't many black skinned who originally come from there so racial slurs are mainly said because usually the few who work there work in low paid labour jobs which make some look down on them. As for the gulf like Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Yemen, racism is huge there but nevertheless history of immigrant tribes makes many black people true Saudi Arabians. The Hawsawi tribe in Mecca are all black Saudi Arabians and incredibly educated families - doctors, TV presenters, scholars etc... Nobody can say anything about them. The same goes to the Bukhari tribe who are all Chinese Saudi Arabians who have earned respect as a known tribe. Therefore, it depends what kind of black person. If they're from Saudi Arabia they'll gain huge respect, but if they immigrated from Ethiopia or Somalia to work as maids and other low-paid jobs then not so much. Finally, in African Arab countries like Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco there is racism but the least in the Arab world. My own grandfather is of black skin and so history has allowed many North African Arabs to have mixed with African blacks. In fact, there are many unknown stories of Arab merchants marrying Nigerian and Ghanian women. Tawergha town in Libya was home to freed black African slaves during the previous centuries. After they were displaced and abused by city residents from Misrata, most other Arabs from other cities stood against their actions and have supported their safety and gave a lot of sympathy. At the end of the day, they're ours, they're our family now, they're a part of us - regardless what history tells us. I disagree with racism it breaks my heart. But I can honestly say that in my experience of mixing with Arabs all my life, the majority hate racism and it's only the few who spread the disease. Two of my Arab friends, one Saudi and the other Iraqi, fell in love with Nigerian men. It's not uncommon.

lol... hate to break it to ya I have a lot of arab friends from school. Sure they might date you, sleep with you etc but really they're only going to marry(get serious) with an arab female. Plus imagine the issues when they try to bring you home? Not meant to be rude... just I know a lot of arab guys... and I've heard all the stories lol It would honestly just be a waste of time.
Why do Turks think Arabs are black?
If only I know :). I think because there were not many arabs in lands of turks(there are many arabs in southeastern regions of turkey and there are many turks in northern Iraq and and middle east but there are not many arabs in western turkey) but there are small black communities descendants of slaves and black slave traders were generally arab as I know(and probably these slaves was speaking arabic-learned arabic first), it could be source of turkish opinion. And also there are Nubian-Egyptian descend communities in western turkey( I have a relative of Egypt descend, he is arab/he can't speak arabic as I know but his family was arab and he has brown skin colour-but he is black for many Turkish people-) ottomans settled them to western turkey to spread cotton farming(they were know how to farm cotton). And also there were two main sources(trading points) of black slaves in ottoman empire: Sudan and zanzibar (both were arab controlled land) and arab slave trade was the source of black slaves, so there was not many difference between arabs and blacks in point of view of turks.

Iam poring from this type of qoestions .I always when i find a question like that i search in google or facebook or yotupe for a photo to the people of my country and show it .but when i read a one from turkey say that i post photoshoped picture to trick eurpean (i donot understand this turkish why we will trick them that we are not black what we will get ) .I deleted all my old ansewrs .And my new answer will be yes we are black you can say that we we are more dark than the ethiopian ( the lightest people amonge the black ) because it is not really important what our color it is important for eupean and turks because they think that white are more smart and intelgant .But for us (the arab ) even if we are not really black it is not really should be important because we donot belive in white supermecy .Iam very sad that i spent time to say iam not black in my old answers iam sad that i were part of this idiot speaking about races and color .

That being said, in several Arab lands the word for a black person is شريحة, literally 'slave.' So, it really all depends on the individual and most likely the region.

coz around the arab world especially north africa people do have some black features. I am half algerian and when i went algeria this summer the people there generally had kinky frizzy hair just like black africans. Only a small minority of the people had straight hair like white people. I was born and raised in london but once in a while my family go to algeria for a holiday. By the way my dad is pakastani but goes algeria coz of my mum. All his family are in london so he dont need to go back to pakistan. Anyway back to the subject. I was really suprised because when i went algeria some of the people were even black and i asked my dad how comes and he said there are black algerians is well. Most of them originate from the tuareg tribe found in the sahara. they are found in algeria, southern morroco, mali, niger, burkina faso, libya and many more northwest african nations. so my question is do you think north african arabs are black or have some black blood in them.
