What Do The Icons Mean In The Box Of Friends Names . Like A Star And So On Especially When There

In Facebook Messenger, what does it mean when the little icon stays white with a blue checkmark? I know it means it's been delivered, but if the icon doesn't change, would that mean the person has you blocked?

As far as I know, you're getting it wrong, my friend :)A White icon with blue checkmark DOESN'T mean that your message has been delivered. It means that your message has reached Facebook's servers. So what happens when it gets delivered to the device of user?A white checkmark inside blue circle :)And finally when a user sees your message, the checkmarks get replaced by his/her profile picture :PI hope this helps :)

What do the icons on Facebook Messenger mean?

The icons used in Facebook Messenger let you know when your messages have been sent, delivered and read. They have been changing over the past few months, but as of writing, the current set used in the Android and iOS apps follows:A blue circle means your message is sendingA blue circle with a checkmark means your message has been sentA filled-in blue circle with a checkmark means your message has been deliveredA small version of your friend's photo will pop up below the message when they've read itThe time between your message is sending and your message has been sent should be brief - if it isn't, there might be a problem with your connection or with Facebook. Delivered may be the one you care about most - that means it's on your friend's device and your friend can read the message.Pro tip: if you tap message, you can see exactly what time it was seen by your friend. For example, before tapping on the message:After tapping on the message ("Were"):So I know that my message was seen right after I sent it at 1:03 AM. If you are sending a message to a group of friends, tapping the message will show you the names of the friends who have read it in additional to seeing their profile photo.A confusing past: the set of icons being used have changed over time. Just 2-3 months ago, this is what you would have seen instead:You'll notice that the same icon (an open blue circle) has been used to mean two different things!I can only imagine that the sent, delivered and read concepts have been difficult for the product's designers to convey to people, and as a result they have had to continue iterating to find a set that is intuitive and easy to understand. Here's hoping they've landed on a set that works!

What does the blue tick mark beside the names in Instagram mean?

Blue check mark next to the name of the profile on Instagram means that it’s a verified profile. It’s an account which was checked (verified) by Instagram and is claimed to be an official profile of a brand, celebrity or some organization. It ensures trust and credibility and you can be sure that you’ve found exactly who you were looking for.It looks like below:And the good news is that now you can officially request a verification! Before August 2018 it was not possible to do so. This is how it looks:Only remember that ending a request obviously won’t guarantee receiving blue verification badge. And note that there are some indirect ways which can speed up verification, like e.g. properly filling out your bio to make sure you look credible or taking advantage of paid promotion.Hope it helps!

Star and Celestial Baby Names?

Ha ha ha... don't take it so serious cathrl69. It's not MY kid... it's a Chinese kid. Translation: it's not on any important documents, so they can change their name whenever they want. Moreover, no one here will mock them or bar them from jobs. Names are not meant to show off, but I also see nothing wrong in choosing a meaningful name that ties a child to something from literature or history. Pretentious applies to naming your child king or queen. Being cultured and intelligent... I hardly can see how that is a negative thing, especially when people are misspelling names in order to be 'unique.'

QUESTION: If you think the names are too odd, can you please suggest unique (not flowers, jewels, or misspelled names), which are also easy to pronounce (no 'th' and no consonant clusters 'str', 'stl', etc.? I often have to give friends' children names, but there are way too many kids named Edward, Robert, Jason, Crystal, Lily, Mary, Rose, etc.

What does YOUR screen name mean?

Well, mine's a nickname too... The Iguana part, anyway. It's my nickname at the camp that I go to / work at.

It's because of a weird "talent" I have with my neck skin... I can actually stretch it...into balls or all the way into my mouth, and I can bite it and hold it there... haha, it's extremely awkward, but my grandfather could do it too. Me and my brother have this weird medical thing, it's like the thing the extremely flexible people in Cirque du Soleil have, but on a MUCH smaller scale. Instead, I can just stretch the skin on my neck, my brother can bend his wrist backward and touch is arm, and we both have weird red lines all over our stomach and back...

Way weird, but absolutely true. The City part in my nickname is just because I absolutely ADORE big cities (I live in a little valley in the middle of nowhere with a population of less than 300...haha), and because I also adore the band Owl City. So, I just randomly added City on there... It's not like I live in a City of Iguanas though... haha, but it is a pretty weird reason, but completely true. I'm actually taking a picture right now just for you. :) But it looks completely normal when I'm not tugging on it...haha

I hope those work, I've never posted pics on facebook and attempted to let people that aren't my friends/contacts (on facebook) see it.

photoquilty -- I have no idea what a scrotum is, but I get the gross thing a lot....or that it looks like a raisin / brain.... heh, I suppose it is gross, but I'm pretty used to it...

LoverinJapan -- LOVE that song as well! I recently learned to play it on the piano. It's a brilliant song. :)

Whats the name of this song that came out in 1996?

all I know is some of the words I used to see this video on BET AND THE BOX

If someone shows up as "Facebook user" in messages, does it mean that their account is deactivated or deleted? Or that they blocked me?

This is a very tricky question because it depends on two things:If the person picture is still there this means they blocked you. The picture doesn't disappear straightaway. If their picture is blank from the first moment it said Facebook User, then they have blocked you.I have a friend who loves to block me over little disagreements, then I have another friend who disables his account almost every week, aha. So I know the differences now.
