What do you think about this cover?
I just heard your singing. I am not into Arctic Monkeys so I have not heard this song at all, but peesonally I think the singing and performance can be a lot better; personally I was not too fond of the phrasing and the intonation/pitch (you sounded evidently flat at some parts). Probably the guitar is a little distracting, and you might have to record the guitar separately or ask someone to play for you if you want to keep these two aspects quite consistent. Another reason for the pitch issues might also be your breath control, and you would want to improve in this aspect since according to my vocal coach this is crucial for all good singing.Your tone also sounded quite breathy at several parts, and while this might be biased to personal choice, I am not a fan of extremely breathy singing. An extremely breathy tone makes your voice sound weak, so you might want to reduce that breathiness a little while keeping your voice character intact. Overall, I think you can be way better than this. However, it is just my opinion though, and do not take my word for it. Rather, keep experimenting and learning, and I am sure one day you will be able to unleash the best potential in your voice. All the best!

It would be cool to hear you do either older or newer (original, maybe) music to set yourself apart from everyone else that's singing today’s hits, but the songs you pick definitely make sense for showcasing your strengths.I think that if you start singing your own versions of songs that stand out more for one reason or another, that will put you up into a “next level” of success which will involve performing live regularly; maybe very often. (I assume that's the goal… if not, the rest of my answer might not actually apply to you.)You really sound great. But you might want to keep pushing your skills forward to rise to your “next level” challenge, which is having the vocal endurance to perform often without putting too much strain on your voice & burning out.You've got a good falsetto/head voice. If you work towards developing that even more by exercising all the notes in your range using your head voice like a classical singer, you’ll gain a new dimention of vocal ability. You can get more comfortable with switching between your high & low placements in different parts of your range and that allows you to seamlessly take the strain off of your throat when your voice is tired. It will basically give you more control, stronger high notes & more endurance by way of chest voice relief. These enhancements to your ability will come in handy when the job gets harder.I recommend having regular solo sessions where you sing operatic warm-ups & scales to get good at using that high placement. Just so you can utilize it when you need to. So you can use that low placement/chest voice most of the time in your performances and not lose your voice because it has to be pretty much all the time.As of right now, though- your recordings really sound great!
