What Do You Think About My Ears

Do you think I ruptured my eardrum?!?

I head a really bad earache last night and I thought it may have been a wax buildup. Being stupid, I used a q-tip, against the boxes advision.
I got some dried pieces out when I felt a sharp pain. I immediately stopped, and later fell asleep, hoping it would feel better in the morning. — it’s been 24 hours now and my ear is really sore. It feels similar to the clogged feeling as you change air pressire, but i can’t pop it- and when I try to blow out my ears it gets painful. On top of this, my hearing feels muffled, but this may be because of the reason I mentioned above ^^
Besides that I haven’t noticed anything else totally unusual. No ringing or anything, I don’t think there’s any discharge, I don’t feel dizzy or nauseous. Maybe the only this is when i press around my ear, it becomes a bit more sore??
What do you guys think it sounds like? I tried looking up symptoms but they seemed very vague.. And I’ll be staying away from using a-tips to clean my inner ear in the future!

What do you think about piercing a babies ears?

I think its a mistake, I worked in a pediatric clinic for a while and specifically asked every pediatrician there what they thought and they were all completely against it. Pierced ears look cute but they can get infected and caught on clothes. If you do choose to get it done have a pediatrician do it, the guns at the mall are impossible to clean well enough to prevent infection in a baby's delicate immune system. If your husband wants her to look more feminine buy little bows, flowers, headbands and dresses for her. Nobody will think a baby with a bow or a flowery headband on her head is a boy.

Do you think my ears are too big?

Since you said your hair makes getting a job difficult, I'm assuming you're male. No, I don't think your ears are too big. If you were female, then yes, I would think so.

I will say, one of your ears looks considerably bigger than the other, but it could be the angle (I can't really tell).

There are some really hot guys with big ears though. Channing Tatum comes to mind. People are just mean, and like to find things to tease people about... like calling a girl who doesn't wear makeup ugly or telling them they look like a man (like our facial features are somehow totally different... I guess women are born with a giant gem in the middle of their foreheads or something), or calling someone who isn't underweight fat or a hippo (even if they are of average weight).

If you want to prove to them that you're more attractive than they think, just work out... women love to see muscle.

I have a cold sensation in my ear what do you think it could be?

maybe the cold wind rushing through one ear and out the other ??? kidding, sorry.

So hey I am thinking about gauging my ears. What are some pros and cons?

Ok im a girl and I think they are extreamly attractive (my boyfriend has his ears stretched as well as I)
First off not to be rude or anything but its actually called stretching your ears gauge is the size of the plug.
The pros is that its a way of expressing yourself, it makes you feel good, its addicting, and I think it looks nice.
Some people would say that cons are, they are "gross", that your ears will be stretched out for the rest of your life if you pass a 2g unless you get surgery, and if you don't do it right you can seriously damage your ears.

Im not sure if you know how to stretch or not so im going t give you some advice.
When stretching make sure you never skip sizes! If you don't have you ears pierced yet I sugest you don't do it yourself and go to an expieranced piercer.
You can get them pierced straight to a size you'd like perferably not passed a 2g. I got mine at 8g. When you get them pierced soak them in warm sea salt ( get a gallon of distilled water and add 4 table spoons of sea salt not table, shake and it should last you a while) microwave it in a small bowl for about 10 seconds for about 10 minutes each ear twice a day for a few weeks. You have to wait atleast three months before you stretch to let them heal though. After they are all healed now you can start to stretch. When you're ready its good to take a warm shower to get the circulation going. Next get your taper ready by lubing it up with vitamin e oil or jojoba oil but not too much. Next insert the taper and once you get to the thick part take a deep breath and push it in. After that immdiatly insert your plug. When you do that your ear will be alittle bit soar but it should NEVER bleed. Like I said before never skip sizes if you pierce your ears at 8 next size is a 6, then 4, 2, 0 and so forth (the bigger the number the smaller the size). Only stretch once a month, use lube, and don't use tapers as your jewlery. If your ears happen to get infected soak your ears in the sea salt solution.
If you have any questions you can ask.

Hope it helped.

What do you think about stretched ear lobes?

i have 0 gauge earings in my ear. (3/8 of an inch)

alot of my friends really hate gauged and think that they look funny. on the other hand, many of them also think it looks really cool.

i really like them and think they look really cool. (thats why i have them)
they are also a very good conversation piece. every day i get a comment such as "did that hurt" or "i really like your earings, could you stretch my ears for me?"

anyway, what do you think about stretched ear lobes and other similar body modifications?

What do you think about males getting their ears pierced?

What do you think about earrings on males? What do I think?Do no harm, forgive and forget. Be compassionate and understanding. Spread love not hate. Help others in need. And adorn yourself as your see fit. Those are the basic tenets of my “religion”. Sometimes I succeed, and other times I fail.I used to wear earrings back when people used different sides (left or right) to identify as gay or straight. This was the early 80s after all.So I pierced both sides, by myself. Without a potato ouchhh!I didn't care what people thought. I was judged unfairly by others anyway. so I figured wtf. As a straight guy, It didn't really matter because I knew who I was.The most I’ve done was 2 traditionally placed holes on each ear. This was before other types of piercings became mainstream, otherwise I might have gotten more piercings as well. I've always wanted a row of bling up and around my ears, in all those places it supposedly hurts like a mofo. The only looks I really don't care for are gauges and septum piercings. But that's just me. I know lots of people that wear those well.I used to wear studs, small hoops, and large hoops. I think even a diamond at one point too. That led to a small lucky number tattoo on my pinky, done by a gypsy lady working out of a store on Sierra Highway, for the everlasting till-death-do-us-part price of $7.Today, it still looks like a $7 piece of work. I now have one inner forearm covered and a small 3″ x 1.5″ tattoo on the opposite forearm near my wrist.Back in the day I had hair to my waist, and at times it reeked of 40 volume peroxide bleached and stained in various shades of Manic Panic red, green and blue. Blue black was also a fav.I know successful people covered almost head to toe in my ink, with piercings as well. Some have had rough lives and others are just following their bliss. It's ok to judge me, because you'll probably never truly know me, or even care to try. But if you must, I'm a dad, a father, and a papa first..

What do you think about the custom of piercing a baby's ears?

I have mixed feelings on it. I had my ears pierced at 3 years old and have no recollection of the experience. Supposedly my grandma pierced them by using a slice of potato.I had originally planned on piercing my child’s ears after getting her tetanus shots, because it is traditional in my family’s culture for little girls to have their ears pierced. However, she was born tongued tied — it was so painful to nurse her and she was below her birth weight. On the recommendation of a lactation consultant, after trying every thing else, I took her for a tongue tie surgery at a pediatric dentist. They used a laser, the procedure was quick but because she was 6 weeks old, she couldn’t have anesthesia! She certainly was in excruciating pain even if she didn’t understand. She could nurse very well after the procedure and feeding her was no longer painful to me.After her tongue tie procedure, I didn’t want to inflict more pain on a little baby that wasn’t necessary so I decided not to get her ears pierced. Her sister’s ears are not pierced yet either.Piercing is a permanent decision so I won’t make that choice for my daughters, but if they want their ears pierced then I have no objection.

How long do you think i should wait before i stretch my ear to 14mm?

If your ears are doing fine now (no swelling, irritation or pain) you should be able to stretch up to the 14mm without problem.
I have very large stretched ears (36mm) that I have been actively stretching for about 5 years. And I have a successful career and they haven't hindered me. True, some will judge you because of them, but judgmental people will always find a reason to judge. I find them useful so that I know who's judgmental and avoid such people.
