What Do You Think About Runnly Road In Luton

If you live in Luton, Britain could you tell me how safe are these neighborhoods?

I'm gonna back up Whizzy's answer - I live in Hemel Hempstead myself. When I moved here from Watford, I had a negative view of the place based entirely on the times I'd been here as a "visitor" from another town.

Now I'm here, I have lovely neighbours, and everyone I've met who work in shops etc are very friendly. There's quite a chav population in parts of the town, but even they're nicer than most ;)

How should I go from Luton airport to London? Bus or train?

It depends on the time of day you're travelling. If it's from 8am - 10am, you may find there is a lot of congestion on the roads. Ditto 4pm - 7pm. It can be slow and demoralising sat on the concrete slab that is the  M25 crawling at 5mph.Buses may not also drop you off in the centre, it might mean getting a taxi or hopping on another tube. Instead, think about getting a train. They take 20-40 minutes and run quite regularly.

Do you think Donald Trump will easily win a second term in 2020 or will it be a harder road than the first?

I had a chance to ask a former US congressman (D) about what candidates democrats have for 2020, and in his mind two most viable options were John Kerry and Elizabeth Warren. One has proven not be very good at elections and the other is too left from center(and a women, which definitely is not an advantage in politics. Because ultimately, what it comes down to, is whether there is any serious opposition candidate to take him down. Unfortunately, there is no candidate (perhaps Nikki Haley from the other side) that has a broad support and clear alternative. Simply criticizing is not enough. While Trump’s policies have not been the most effective in getting results, something he promised he would be doing a lot, the economy is doing well and as an incumbent, he can take the credit for that. Currently, his approval sits at 43%. Definitely not good, but not a disaster either.A lot can change in two years, but nothing at the moment suggest that Trump would lose. In that sense, it will be easier for him.

What are the best aspects of living in Luton, Bedfordshire, UK as a young adult?

I have not lived in Luton all my life but moved in here about 7 years ago. According to my experience here are some positive and negative aspects of living in Luton.Pros:1: It is only 25 miles away from London so one feels like they are living in London while not living in London.2: Food is very conveniently accessible 24/7. Take aways such as Karahi Juntion and Grill House on dunstable road are pretty much open 24 hours.3: Job market is fair because of its direct links to London, Hatfield, Watford, Milton Keynes, Stevenage and Welwyn Garden.4: Travel to Europe is quite cheap because of its airport as one wont need to pay extra for airport meet and greet services.5: Good place for businesses becuase of cheap labour from eastern europe and south asia.Cons:1: It has really bad press because of staying in news for murders, drugs, extremism and social fruads. You ll hear one or two murder news every 2 or 3 months which is very depressing.2: Its a hot place for EDL and Britian First leaders to do their politics so there is always a march going on every quarter of year.3: People are aggressive, rude and often fall below minimum education level. Native people have already formed their perception about other ethnicities and they dont want to be part of multi culture.4: Housing is expensive and shared accomodations are over crowded. It has more people/sq mile than any other average British town excluding London.

What are the best restaurants to try when visiting Luton, Bedfordshire, UK? What should you try while you're there?

It depends on ethnicity, I am from south asian backgroung so here is my List of favourite restaurants.1: Jimmy’s - It is located in town centre next to Costa coffee near entrance to mall.2: Grill House: Its located in bury park on dunstable road.3: Papa J’s: It is located in wellington street which gets off from town’s high street.4: Mashwi: It is located at start of Crawley road which gets off from Telford way.5: Roti/Karahi Junction: It is located on dunstable road right next to BP Petrol Station and Kingsway.

My boyfriend has been offered a job in Luton.?

you could live in a better town (i.e. bedford) and he just commute on the train to luton.

What are some lesser-known sights to see when visiting Luton, Bedfordshire, UK?

There is not much to see in Luton really as it is more a commercial town than a beautiful one. There is a small museum based around some of the history of Luton, this is situated not far from the town centre at a nice park called Wardown. There is also the hotel/country mansion/golf course called Luton Hoo, however I'd simply visit and not book as even afternoon tea is way over priced and not very exciting. On the out skirts is a petting farm called Woodside animal farm, located in a village called Slip End, you can feed and pet most of the farm animals and is great for small children. Check out the blows downs and a place called Ashridge if you like being out in the open air and especially if you love walks or picnics. Other than the shopping centre and amusement/cinema centre, Luton has little to offer site seekers.

What are the good and bad neighborhoods of Luton, Bedfordshire, UK?

To be honest there aren't really any great areas in Luton and I'm a Lutonian myself. The better areas are Bramingham, Stopsley, New Bedford Road Area and that's about it. Areas to avoid include Marsh Farm, Lewsey Farm, Hockwell Ring, Sundon Park, Bury Park. You would be better picking a nice town or village on the outskirts of Luton and travelling in and out for work etc

Anyone know where the port road witch lives in adelaide?

Yeah, just off the Port Road behind the church and near Tint a Car. You can often see her hanging around in front of the bushes naked, or with a black cape, walking stick and a black cat. She is rumoured to deal drugs for the bikeys and they protect her by chasing kids who firecracker her house.

Cheapest way to travel to Luton from London?

The fast way is by train. They run very frequently between Luton Station and London St Pancras International.
The cheapest ticket is an Off Peak Day Return to London available from 09-30am weekdays and anytime at weekends. It costs £15.10. www.thameslinkrailway.com
For a few £s extra you can buy it as a One Day Travelcard giving you unlimited travel on London's buses and Underground for the day
The problem with coaches - Green Line 757 runs from Luton to London, is that it is very slow on our congested roads and the fares are not really any cheaper.
