Should a 14 year old wear nice watches?

Unless said 14-year-old is unusually sedentary and precocious, the likely answer is "no," although that depends on your definition of a "nice" watch.  I have encountered 14-year-olds with Rolexes before, but it's never given me a high opinion of their parents' judgment or of the kids themselves, who tended to flaunt them.   At age 14 a kid is unlikely to appreciate the value that comes with a nice watch and also is likely to have poor judgment about said watch, doubly so if they haven't previously worn a wristwatch.  I wouldn't trust any 14-year-old's judgment enough to give them a timepiece worth thousands of dollars to just carry around.  They're likely to lose it, damage it, or have it get stolen.  They also are unlikely to get any of the social cred that might come from carrying a nice watch, or if they do it might be negative unless it's in a situation like a formal family gathering with people who might notice. Finally - and I freely admit this is only my personal opinion and not any objective argument - doing something like that is sending the wrong message about wealth.  A nice wristwatch should be bought with one's own money after the long deliberation and careful choice that comes with a multi-thousand dollar purchase.  Giving someone an absurdly luxurious item at a young age devalues the experience, and moreover teaches them to careless about expensive items because they become the baseline.  Watch forums will often tell you that even if people have the means to afford a nice watch, the best watch for a 14-year-old is going to be a G-shock, Timex, or other watch that is durable, rugged, inexpensive and functional.  Once the kid has some idea of how to wear a watch naturally and has the higher level of maturity that comes with age, then I'd say it could be time to wear a nicer wristwatch on a daily basis.

As a 19 year old, how do I explain what rape means to my 12 year old sister?

Okay!Well here’s it…Sis: What is rape!A violence. She: As simple as that?( with innocent eyes )Well! Actually no! Come on. I’ll tell you a small story! She: Story?Yes ! Imagine you have a watch. The most beautiful one. .She: Like Rolex?Yes, A rolex! A fancy rolex. Unique. You bought it because you like the way it looks .And then you get beaten up, the rolex is stolen. Why was it stolenShe: Stolen? Cause it was beautiful, right? Or somebody needed that and couldnt afford it!Yes!What do you do?She: I’ll report it to the policeSo you go to a police station.Only instead of investigating the crime, the police want to know why you were wearing a rolex, instead of a regular one. They keep pestering you with the questions ; “ Have you ever given your rolex to someone else?” ; “Is it possible that you wanted to be mugged?”; “If not why werent you wearing a full sleeve to cover up the rolex?”She: Does that matter? No, it doesn’t. What happens? The news spreads out in the neighbourhood. Everbody knows about your stolen Rolex. And then, after that, everywhere you go,there are constant jokes about stealing your rolex.People who don’t even know you whistle at your rolex and cutting your hand off to get it.She: Like bullying. At school?Exactly. And since you have a unique watch, the media too covers that. It doesn’t help you either. It potrays people who wear rolex as flamboyant rich people who show off their rolex to the world. She: But I bought it since I like it.You and I know that, my darling. The world doesn’t.When damn, all you wanted was to wear a nice watch without getting harrased for it.When you complain that you started feeling unsafe, people laugh you off , saying you are too uptight.Never mind you got violently attacked because of wearing a friggin time piece! She: Oh! Now I understand! What? She: I don’t buy a rolex. No, baby! Imagine you were born with a rolex. She: “ Silence”Imagine you could never take that rolex off!”Makes sense!!

Will people know I'm wearing a fake Rolex?

Of course they will spot it in short order. Here is why:

1. No 14 year old has a real Rolex.
2. The watch will last only about two or three months, if worn daily, then it will break. All fake Rolex do so. The seller may say they will replace it. They are in China. They will not respond to your email.
3. A fake Rolex will keep poor time and must be set daily. You will have to get a second watch a Wal-Mart or you will be late to school.
4. No fake Rolex is all that water resistant so you have to take it off showering in gym class.
5. Odds are it will cause your wrist to break out in a rash if you sweat on it because they are made of cheap toxic metal.
6. A fake Rolex has markers on the face that glow green in the dark (like at a movie). A real Rolex will glow white.
7. A fake Rolex makes a very pronounced scraping sound when you shake it. No real Rolex will do that and everyone knows it.
8. All fake Rolex are made by the Xin Jin Watch foundry. They cost about $10 to make.
9. Rolex is popular with gays. If you are under 30 you will look gay waring it. A Rolex is for men who are 40 or so.

A fake Rolex is NOT really nice at all. They might look like a Rolex but they never work like one. The only person you are fooling is yourself. So what is the point?

Also most of those sites are China owned. Most of them are phishing for credit card numbers, and will not send you anything. Do you know how to look up a site to see who owns it and if it is legit? You cannot tell by how the site looks. The site you fund on the internet probably has only existed about two weeks.

What bikini is appropriate for a 14 year old?

Since Victoria's Secret is having their sale and the swimsuits are a lot cheaper than usual, I was thinking of buying a few while they're on sale. The problem is that I'm unsure of what's really appropriate. I prefer bikinis to tankinis or one pieces, and I'm trying to get in shape for summer currently. I bought a bikini from them a summer or two ago, and I liked it, but I felt like it didn't have much support since it was more of a bandeau style so I was thinking of maybe buying a push-up one so I at least have some underwire that gives me some support. My breasts aren't the biggest, I'm between a B or a C cup, but the bikini I bought from them before just made my chest look kinda saggy and wasn't very appealing or flattering. So, would a push up be appropriate for a 14 year old?
Specifically, these bikinis,

Did Steve McQueen really wear a Rolex Explorer Steve McQueen?

There is actually no photographic proof that he wore the Rolex Orange Hand Explorer II or what is popularly known as the "Steve McQueen".It was only rumored to be worn by the movie star, but that rumor was enough to earn it a spot in collections everywhere.Launched in 1971, the Rolex Explorer II ref. 1655 (seen above) was made specifically for mountain climbers. It featured a highly-visible orange 24-hour hand, designed to be seen in the dark, to help speleologists and explorers help work out “day” and “night”.Given its niche, it sold relatively few models in its 14-year run, but its association with McQueen has given it consistent demand to this day.Steve McQueen, however, has many photos wearing his personal Rolex Submariner 5513, and the Heuer Monaco during the filming of Le Mans (below). Here’s a short video on Steve McQueen's Storied Watches.Photo from The Watch Man LondonPhoto from DesertLeather.com

Yellow gold Rolex, impressive or tacky?

It would look lame, like you are trying to make up for something lacking in your life.

I would have to wounder if you have sexual frustration or if you think your penis is too small.

Can wearing a nice watch make me look nice in a meeting, work environment, or dinner with friends? Does it increase my social prestige?

The answer to that question is tough. If you buy a watch people recognize sure it will raise your level of prestige. In my opinion that would be a rolex. I know a few watch collectors, myself included that honestly thumb their nose at rolex. Not that there is anything wrong with them, but it's purely a show piece. Do it for yourself, if someone notices or asks about it, even better. My recommendation would be a speedmaster moonwatch or a glasshutte senator. Excellent entry level luxury watches. Plus your not near as likely to get robbed for a glasshutte as a rolex lol
