What should I do if I don't like my brother's girlfriend?
I'll tell you of my particular situation below but as to how you deal with this is your primary concern. You are going to be called on to use all the patience you have. You have to let your brother make a potential mistake. Keep to yourself and don't get in the middle of their business. Zip the lip. My brothers first wife was a mean,thoughtless woman. On Christmas Eve I had a dinner party. She arrived, got herself a stiff drink and with a cheerful smile on her face, said, "You won't believe the stupid thing your brother did today!" Silence. Before I could stop myself, I had shot her a look. A that's my brother you're talking about look.That's all it took for her to declare war on myself, my son and my dad. We had a small family and we really missed my brother. It was another year before he had had enough of her scornful, bossy, superior additude, divorced her and within a year found a lovely lady to love. And we love her too. My brother beats his girlfriend?
About two weeks ago me and my mum heard crying and thuds coming from my brothers bedroom (I am twenty and my brother is nineteen). My mum went upstairs and his girlfriend came out crying and about ten minutes later my brother came out without saying a word, got in his car and left (to work). After talking with Alainer (not sure how to spell her name) my mum discovered she gets beaten by my brother. She said that her parents know of it but dont care (which I'm not sure is a lie). Anyway, it has happened again a few times since, and my mum or dad dont do a thing. My mum just stands there and listens, and does absolutely nothing. I asked my dad (who was in the room next to my brothers) why he just sat tehre whilst she was screaming and thuds were echoing through the house, and he blindly smiled and coldly said ''they were just playing'' even though I told him that Alainer admitted to my mum that my brother beats her. About half an hour ago it was happening again, and my mum just stood there listening. I asked, why dont you do something, and she just got angry at me and said ''I have talked to Alainer and theres nothing we can do''. Alainer herself doesnt talk to me at all. She completely ignores me. I am not sure what to do, should I inform someone of this? It hurts me to know that that thing goes on in my home.
How should I deal with the fact that my brother has a girlfriend?
Practically speaking this is not a big problem. It is really ok to stay in a relationship also it becomes very common now a days.But make sure that the relationship shouldn't be physically. Neither it affect his study or his career nor it affect his character.No one can learn all things from books, some can be learnt by experience. If he get cheated then it becomes a lesson for him that he shouldn't trust someone blindly. He came to know about different types of people in the world, on the other hand if his relationship works successfully then congratulations to him he passed the test to win someone in one chance.So teach him to be honest with his family and friends and most importantly never distract from his career.

My brother and i love each other very much ( in a brother-sister way) and we've been like "best friends" since we were kids. Now he has a girlfriend that broke up with him because she said that he get along better with me than with her and that used to make her jealaous, can you believe that? She said that there is "more chemistry" between he and me than with her and that the only thing she does better than me is "sex". I was laughing when i heard this, but now i don't know what to do, my brother is not really happy about the split and i haven't talked to him in the whole day. Drop yer brother a lifeline first, me old son- tell him ya know EXACTLY what's goin' on between him and this other girl, and tell him that, unless he packs it up, and packs it up NOW, then you'll tell his girlfriend everything, and ya do mean EVERYTHING, and that you'll land him right in the ****, and end this threat with the statement: "And for the record, that AIN'T a bleedin' threat, neither, sunshine- it's a bloody promise!"- that phrase, added to the end of yer threat'll show him that ya mean business! Granted, ya MIGHT be bluffin', (and maybe ya WON'T tell her a bloody thing), but d'ya think HE'S gonna wanna run that bloody risk? I think not, my son! If he pays no heed to what you've said, then be prepared to carry out yer threat, and tell his girlfriend what's what! Dude, find someone else. There have to be better alternatives than doing "things" with your brother... But I guess if you really want his girlfriend, well, it's a free country. Just make sure he doesn't get mad at you afterwards.
