What do you think about the way you look?
I used to think I was hideous. Looking in the mirror wasn’t just unpleasant; it was traumatising. Each time I would go away feeling more unhappy than the previous.Even now, I still have some of these demons. And the person who looks back at me is capricious; he changes, or at least, my interpretation of him changes daily. This can be a great cause of anxiety, for the simply reason that I don’t always know who’s going to leer back at me when I look in the mirror.It’s partly why I take so many selfies — not because I’m vain (I promise I’m not), but to keep track of things. To reflect on how my interpretation of myself changes.The other day, however, I was having a typical childish Fred-style crisis of confidence about my appearance.“I am ugly. You’re just saying I’m not to make me feel better!” I blurted out angrily. I get defensive when I feel vulnerable.“That is so not true. Why do you think you’re my muse?” he replied.“What do you mean?”“Why do you think I take so many photos of you?”“I don’t know. To make me feel better about myself?” I shrugged.“Well, yeah, I won’t lie: there is that. I’m your friend. I like to play my part in making you feel good about yourself.But more importantly than that, it’s because you’re flippin’ handsome and make for a good portrait subject!”To be called someone’s ‘muse’ was very special for me. I am so grateful for him and his dogged determination to see me happy.Those moments of horror still appear, but much less frequently. There are moments that I even like the way I look; a very strange feeling indeed.Anyway, here’s me lying in the spring sun, just because.I think I look quite nice.

What do you think I look like?
Incredibly pretty.You are slim and have brown, curly hair, roughly shoulder length that you pull into a sweet ponytail.Your eyes as the same colour as a salt containing ammonium cation to which Nessler's reagent has been added. You wear black, elegant spectacles that look expensive but actually aren't.You don't wear any jewellery. Your clothes are simple. You have a favourite jeans that you're almost always wearing, and you favour T shirts with silly things written on them. You have a black jacket that you grab each time you leave the house.You wear shoes, occasionally in colours like sky blue but mostly black.You're slightly taller than the average girl and have surprisingly symmetrical features.Really, if you straightened those hair out, you'd look remarkably attractive.
Can the way you think change how you look?
yeah definitely. If you are confident enough, you tend to look much better. look at PSY, he isn't that good looking but he has tons of confidence.
Do you think when dogs look at us they think they look like us?
I don't really think it matters so much to a dog what we look like, or what they look like. They are much more interested in what we smell like, what we sound like. We place so much emphasis on the look of things and people, because our eyesight is more often than not our primary sense. If our nose was as sensitive as a dog's, we'd probably have a very different idea of appearances, and beauty, and what was important in life.My German Shepherd will point to each of our five cats when I say their names. I can often not tell two of them apart, because they are brother and sister, and they look so alike. And I guess that if she thought she looked like me, she might also think that she looked like them too?
What do you think your cats/dogs/hamsters would look like if they were human?
i like this question!! lol, i have a teacup chihuahua- he's black and tan- 3 years old and has puppy features... no big eyes or anything.. to me, he would look like a small mexican/hispanic man with short black hair- he'd probably be the type to have on a highly decorated sumbraro with a matching outfit and a guitar(since he's so spoiled, he'd definatley be a ladies man) he's not aggressive AT all so he'd be a lover, not a fighter. he has high cheek bones, small eyes, and a little nose with ears that fit his head. small dainty feet but is built like he's got some muscle so he would still have some masculine traits... =]
