No, but the main characters best friend in the Jessica Darling books is named Hope. Her character is actually very loyal, funny and witty(: I see a very cheery and bright happy girl with blonde or light brown hair! A good last name would be like Woods or Matthews(: I really don't think so. I think thin. But, really names don't affect weight or vice versa. I like it but never would use it for my child. It's way too goody two shoes, and although I wouldd want my daughter to be good i wouldn't want her to be squeaky clean good. Hope sounds like a name you have to live up to like Faith and Chanel.

A small recommendation, why not name the baby with a more positive name, One that means Courageous, Hope, Kind, benevolent, leader, balanced etc ? This would add positivity to the growth of the boy into a man that the society can look up to.It need not be based on religion, but more from psychological factors.Just a thought process.. not a compulsion.

Names like these may be heartfelt wishes of parents, fine in their intent, but which do not transfer well onto children. They as individuals will have to endure being made fun of by their peers for many years because of it. Please take for yourself or give your child a name that has been used and respected in some quantity before, so that you or your child will not be singled out for name instead of for personal qualities.
