What do you think of the name Jory for a boy?
Read a book when I was younger and the main character in the story had a baby boy and she named him Jory. It was a combination of 2 names, Julian and Corey. The main character's husband and father of the baby was named Julian. She also had a younger brother who died, his name was Corey. If the child had been born with blonde hair she would have named him Corey, but he was born with black hair like his father, so she used his first letter initial, dropped the C and came up with Jorey, to honor both his father and his uncle, (her brother). I like the name.
What do you think of the name Jorie?
Jory/Jorie is a nickname for Jordan. Jory, for a boy, is one of my favourite names but I don't like Jordan and I thought it sounded too nickname-ish on it's own so I hyphenated with a one-syllable name. Personally I only like it spelt as Jory or Jorey. Boston- I like this name! It's different, but one he can grow with and is easy to spell. Jory- Not too fond of this one. Jace- I like Jace! Khy- I like it! I know someone who spells it Kaj but pronounces it the same as Khy. Gabe- Love it! I'd name him Gabriel though, and have Gabe for short. Quinn- Don't like Preston- Really like this! I also like Payton which is similar.
What can Jory be a nickname for?
The masculine name Jory has been growing on me lately, and it seems quite nickname-y to me. So I was wondering what it could be a nickname for? I wonder if it could be a nickname for a J first name and the middle name Cory. Like Jasper Cory. Would that work?
