What Do You Think Of This Book Idea

What do you guys think of these ideas for books?

With yeti porn being the new Black, I'd suggest:Yeti women and speed dating in national parks 101Yeti infidelity stories: Fur, finesse, and betrayalYeti porn and prejudice: Taking a razor to hair-brained ideasDysfunctional Yeti 69: Leaning in to be not coolSee?  Suddenly a vague topic becomes a real book.  They almost write themselves.  At least, they do if you know some yetis.

What do you think of this book idea?

That's a premise, not a story. Your pitch should convey one. For example:A serial killer working as an escort must avoid capture by the cop investigating the murders, which is tricky because she's married to him.Edit:This was added to the question details: Girl is murdering drug dealers and taking their money and drugs for her own empire.Again, that is a premise, not a story. In a story something happens. There's a goal. There's opposition. Compare these:A girl is magically transported to a magical world where she battles an evil witch.A Kansas girl in a strange, magical land must find an elusive Wizard if she hopes ever to return home, hampered by an angry and vengeful witch.

Do you think ebooks are still a good idea?

Be careful about the ‘ebook plateau’ stuff. The problem we have from a research point of view is that it’s hard to tell how many ebooks are actually being sold. There’s no central reporting of actual sales volumes, unfortunately. One big problem is that we don’t know how many self-published books are sold. The main vendor of self-published ebooks is Amazon, but Amazon doesn’t tell us how many. It gives us relative rankings, from which we can kinda-sorta infer volumes; but those calculations generally aren’t included in the data you tend to see reported in ‘ebook plateau’ stories. So I think it’s impossible to tell what the overall trend might be in ebook sales with a good degree of certainty, just because of the very partial nature of the data available. It’s possible trade publishers’ ebook sales are pretty stable, but that self-pub ebook sales are growing; it’s possible the latter is growing at the expense of the former, or that neither really affects the other; it’s just very fuzzy.I think the key thing I believe about this is that ebooks have created an extra market on top of the traditional book trade. There’s a fair amount of substitution - people buying the ebook instead of the paperback - but also a whole new market where there are books being sold at very low price points to very diverse audiences. This is a market which wasn’t being served by a physical book trade for economic and logistical reasons, but can now be reached via ebooks.Physical books and ebooks are going to coexist from now on, and I don’t think either is ‘the future’ or a better ‘idea’ than the other; they’ll develop in parallel.

What do you think of these book ideas?

No idea is good or bad. It all depends on how well the characters are developed and how well the story is told. Take Love Story, The Great Gatsby, The Stranger, Catcher in the Rye or even the Sense of an ending! The stories are simple. Too simple actually. A few might even be happening around you. But the magic the authors weaved around those stories - that! That is what makes a story good. So all in all, if you are truly happy with a story then go ahead and just write it. Every idea is great.

Is my book idea good??

Okay so there's this girl her name is December. Her mother and her travel a lot so they jump from apartment to apartment' but they stay in the same place for at least a year sometime 11 months. But December isn't a fan of moving around a lot and wishes to go back to the place she was born' Nashville Tennessee. But her Mom says that most people only ever dream about seeing the world and that she should take it in honor that she can see things most people only dream. So December sucks it up and tries to make the best of it.

((The new place there at is Seattle.)) When they get to the apartment December goes up to their room and decides to go to bed. But once she reaches the hall she see's a guy about her age 16 with messy brown hair ((NOT CURLY)) His eyes are turquoise and his skin is a flash white color. When she see's him she decides to go up and ask him if he's lost etc. But when she walks up to him he just ignores her and walks away. She feels some what offended but quickly shakes it off.

The next morning when she wakes up she decides to go for a walk she tells her mom and then leaves. As she walks outside the apartment building she see's the same boy from the night before' so she walks up to him. He looks at her as though she's scum on the bottom of his shoe and turns away.

She just shrugs and then turns away and decides to walk over to a McDonalds which is only a couple minutes away to go get some breakfast. When she gets there she see's the boy but this time he's with a girl. The girl has Blonde straight hair and pale' pale skin she's wearing red lipstick and has the same turquoise eyes as the boy. When the girl see's her she comes over and says "hello". December greets her and then asks if her and the boy are related. She responds with a "yes but also says the only difference is I'm smarter when it comes to my meals. December doesn't understand but goes along with it. "Would you like to join us for breakfast"? the girl asks. " "Shure but I don't think your brother likes me". December replies. Oh we always take good care of our fiends and we are friends right"?

And that's all I'm putting but what do you think so far?

Is this a good book idea?

Yes, I know about Wicca. I'm not going to through a whole bunch of Harry Potter witchcraft in there, nothing against HP.
I am only 13, so It's not like I could get it published right now anyway. The paranormal romance isn't in right now because of Twilight. There are a whole bunch of really good paranormal books out there that came out before Twilight. Give it a break, please. :)

What book had an idea that made you think, "Why didn't I think of that?"

The Old Man and the Sea.I personally knew nothing about the sea before reading this book. But I believe I can write something like this masterpiece. This book inspires me a lot. My version would be The Old Woman and the Desert.

In the book, The Giver, Where do you think the idea of "sameness" came from?

The idea of sameness probably stemmed from the whole if everyone in the world was the same we'd all be equals no one would be better than the other, no one would be lesser and so on. The society in the giver is very controlled if i remember correctly (its been a while) they do so to 'keep peace' but really focusing solely on equality has caused in a decline of emotions and family values that are important, love and attraction to a partner so instead of focusing on love and such as they should have (because if they had then equality would have followed as is the nature of things) they focused on the wrong thing.

basically to answer your question because it's so simple, there is no difference because they allow no difference they suppress individuality and feelings to attain and keep their Utopian society.

Are these good book ideas? :D?

Hi! So, I'm a 13-year-old girl who loves to write short stories, and I'm going to publish them soon. I have a few ideas in my mind, but I want to make sure they're worth it so I don't waste my time. So here it is:

#1: A young nine-year-old girl named Dapple finds herself lost deep in forests of Alchemist Gardens, and meets many different creatures she never thought existed, such as fairies, dragons, unicorns, and firefoxes. Along the way, she's accompanied by a young boy the same age as her named Ranger, and later in the story they both fall in love with each other. There will be a huge plot twist in the end, but I don't want to give too much details away ;)

#2: A high-schooler named Viola finds herself trapped in another world after she falls into a portal hidden in a mirror. It's a wintery wonderland kind of setting, and there's so many magical creatures that no one has ever heard of, but there's an explanation for them. With the help of a very wise raven, she has to collect five gems, a sapphire, a ruby, an emerald, a diamond, and a moonstone, to unlock the gate to the human world she inhabited in.

#3: After being fired from her previous job, a 27-year-old woman named Keira sets out to find a new job in the outskirts of Chicago. She decides to work at a famous gallery, but after investigating one night, she finds out mysterious and strange things. Suddenly, she then notices that everyone she's previously talked to keep getting killed. Now, it's up to her, and only her, to figure out how she could stop this from continuing, and change everything back to normal.

Which would did you like best? Which one would you most likely continue and love to read? Thanks ^ - ^
